Dan, I used to clean the sidewalk at a McDonalds and policy was to mop it every day. The greasy stains around the doors had to be scrubbed once a week, used a brush with mop water and a little degreaser as required. After leaving that job, the entire place started looking filthy. A year later, one of the employees said the GM was wanting me to come back because of the conditions and a lack of decent help. I guess their managers should not have given me a bad time and said I was a slacker. (Only used materials provided by store)

Last summer my KARCHER 11" Surface cleaner worked great until one of the 2 jets got clogged up. I tried everything to clear that jet. I even let it soak in my bathtub. Finally I purchased an off brand surface cleaner in the late fall from HOME DEPOT. Then the winter hit and I was done. I have many sidewalks to scrub and the sandstone on my building. I want to know if there is some way to clean that clogged jet on the KARCHER. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

You're the Man Dan! I've been wanting to start a Pressure cleaning business for a long time now. Watching your videos has inspired me and lit the fire under my ass to get it going. I've got a couple questions. I picked up my first unexpected commercial acct here in FL. It's a big gas station. What would you use to get up or lighten up the grease stains in the parking lot? I picked up a caustic pressure treatment from the local janitorial outlet and tried it at the house and it worked pretty good but the stains arent as bad as the gas station. 2nd question is how would you go about charging for a job like that? I was thinking Linear ft + what I would do for a house wash. It's the store front and 1 side of building, Sidewalk, gas pumping area and parking spots. Sorry for the long message. I wouldn't touch that job my friend. What are you going to do when the EPA fine's you for toxic run off into storm drains? Stick to what you know and what is safe for you and the environment. You need a run off collection system and a place to dispose of the waste water. Walk away

Quick question: I got a 15in surface cleaner and it spins no where near as fast as that and sometimes stripes, is the flow rate from the pressure washer not high enough do you think? It's a 8 horsepower motor with 4800psi max (3000 continuous) unit with around 2.5-3 gallon/min flow rate and using a 30ft hose but it also came with a 60ft hose I haven't used yet as I haven't needed that reach. cheers!

For years I've used chlorine (50/50 mix with water injected into pressure washer) to clean concrete. I've cleaned many shingle roofs with chlorine/water. No, I do not ruin the shingles with the pressure washer. I let the chlorine do the work, and just rinse the roof off. I must say, that your surface cleaner is MUCH faster, but there is NO WAY that would work on shingles..
