@CaptainBlaine no,I'm not political. I don't like either party. He use to actually be funny but as with the rest of hollywood he started going far left more and more instead of fuck the system kind of attitude.

I use to listen to these calls in 2009,10,11 etc. These arent fake dumbasses. They are real. Its pretty clear. Sorry but their funny as hell but have worn down over the years. Its gotten old

Counterpoint.... you're wrong. Howard not wanting to put full effort into the show anymore but is scared to enjoy retirement is ruining the show. I only listen to clips nowadays because I don't like the show format and I really dislike 95 percent of his "interviews".

They’re not staged and rural folk can handle it. Hell they laugh at themselves. No one is more rural than Richard and no one laughs harder at Richard being from rural Kansas than Richard.

@@soilcredibility they probably think a lot of the calls have actors on the other line, or people who are "in on the joke", and they're reading a script.

@supersmoo7377 like the trumpet pizza place call, that type of call is so ridiculous, the call recipient is either going to hang up or play along. So maybe the commenter thinks those who play along are "staged".
