I feel like what could actually happen is that gingerbrave's team will go recruit sea fairy in the main story, but since mermaid's tale confirms that sea fairy's tower is in the middle of the duskgloom sea, they are forced midway to face black pearl, and they will probably know about this via caviar. Cue redemption arc lead by caviar, elder oyster and hopefully the gem mermaids too.
