I don’t approve of what Lord Oyster did. However, he’s justified. His family was crumbling, and in severe debt. They’d get bankrupt and lose all their fame, reputation, and money. He had to save his family, but he didn’t have any other options other than selling the pearl. I blame Abalone.

Yeah I don't think he deserve any hate he at least felt genuinely indecisive and held it longer when selling the Pearl and there were never anything malicious, he probably just looks like a crazy person holding something valuable and rather see him and his family go into poverty. and he also actively regret it the moment he knew Abalone was the one who got it and try to save white pearl. I wished he could've explained himself properly maybe white pearl could've forgiven him but she's also just broken apart from everything and everyone and the person she could trusted the most isn't any better, this is a sad story. :(

Kinda late but i do have a theory why abalone cookie is so greedy So basically back then, crimson coral cookie experienced the same as white pearl. Crimson coral cookie was dating abalone cookie when white pearl was still little. But abalone betrayed her when he learned about the treasures inside the sea and tried to take crimson down to get all of the treasures. Crimson coral cookie was really easy to trick back then since she did not get any serious learning about the greedy land cookies. Now crimson coral absolutely despises land cookies especially. Why did crimson coral chose to date abalone cookie? Cause abalone cookie swore to crimson coral he will try his best to protect the sea from any harm whatsoever. But how did crimson coral not end up like white pearl? Crimson coral knew that the sea fairy tear contained negative energy that could corrupt her and distance her really far away from her gem mermaid sisters

Sadly they won't. Back when part 2 of the mermaid's tale update was released, Aquamarine, Gold Citrine and Mystic Opal were released as guest cookies. If you don't what guest cookies are, it's a rarity that used back in the disney update in late july 2022. So, to get the 3 gem mermaid cookies, there were five sea shells. Every seashell either has or hasn't a gem mermaid inside. And to get the gem mermaid 100%, You need to do all 30 tries. You had to use 10 pearl things (i don't remember what it was) You could do that 3 times a day. 1 for 100% and the 2 buy spending 300 crystals or watching an ad. And, to get them faster, you had to spend money (it wasn't expensive though) And the worst part about guest cookies, IS THAT THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING. Like NOTHING. They are just there. Hell, they don't do production. The event was around from august 30th to September 25th 2023. And you sadly can't get them anymore. (I have all 3 of them btw, and at that time, I WAS STRESSED)

Thank you so much for making this video. Now that I know the full story, boy, the way people simplify it to lord oyster bad and sea fairy do nothing, man they are so so off the mark! This story is a tragedy for all involved. It makes me wonder if people actually finished this story or just jump on the bandwagon. Why I tell you, before I watched this video, I thought lord Oyster stole the pearl from white pearl cookie and started the war, and that sea fairy cookie doesn't even care about the mermaids because that's what people said! Sheeshh, talk about oversimplification and misinformation. Now yes, lord oyster do make a mistake but that doesn't make him evil, bro is just a naive dumbass who couldn't see the greed of abalone cookie, and he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Had this story been a fairytale and not a tragedy, he could have been a lot stronger in his faith for his family survival and dedication to white pearl cookie. And sea fairy cookie do care for the mermaids, she help ease white pearl cookie worries and give her strength even until the end. Despite her own longing to the moon, her attempt do give advantage to the mermaids to get away from the ships. So shortening all that to her not caring is just so wrong. Not to mention the fact that abalone cookie wasn't even adressed despite him being the main villain is such a funny thing. I didn't even know about his existence before the story man, tell you so much about what people are going on about. Moral of the story, actually see/read the canon before listening to the fans. So thanks again for making this video, this is now one of my favourites cookie run story!

I love this take, so many people love to jump the gun in demonizing characters who’ve done mistakes which are realistic under the circumstance they are in😭😭even cookies. Although I do believe it was quite careless for sea fairy cookie to abandon her guardian duties for her love for moon, I honestly love that part about her in a way. I love how morally Grey of a character she is it makes her much more relatable to then the other legendary cookies or even any other cookie. A character with flaws is so much better than one with none. Even though yes sea fairy did mess up big time I still love her and find her character understanding in a way. She definitely still gave the mermaids an advantage but with her powers definitely could have done more. But I’m glad they didn’t make her a perfect character, it makes her much enjoyable. And for oyster cookie I honestly get that dude he truly isn’t the real villian it’s all abalone. If your family was in risk of poverty of course you’d want to do anything to help he definitely was a dumbass but very realistic.

Well, let me tell you. Sorbet Shark cookie could always talk. Only they are in their true form/in water. The reason why they speak in bubbles is because it was a curse created by none other *Black Pearl Cookie* herself. Whenever Sorbet Shark Cookie goes on land, they become a cookie, but they only speak in bubbles. It's basically referencing the little mermaid.
