Part 2: Is The Legend Of Zelda (1985) Shown In Beyond The Time Barrier (1960)? Princesses & Elvis

Science fiction film, Beyond The Time Barrier (1960). The cast included Robert Clarke, Darlene Tompkins, Arianne Arden, Vladimir Sokoloff, Stephen Bekassy, John van Dreelen & Red Morgan.
The movie's story: U.S. Air Force test pilot Major Bill Allison flies the experimental X-80 experimental aircraft into outer space. Something strange happens mid-flight and when he lands back at his airbase it appears abandoned, and in shambles. He observes what appears to be a futuristic city of domes and towers. After being captured by the future society he is informed he has traveled in time 64 years to 2024.
I believe this movie may show future clues to major events that would take place in 2024. There may also be some hints to Nintendo's 1986 fantasy adventure videogame The Legend of Zelda. A new game The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is due out on September 26th of this year.
Shapes used in the architecture of the future society's citadel of Beyond The Time Barrier may be familiar to Zelda fans. Walls and doorways appear triangular or diamond shaped. The power artifact item The Triforce in Zelda is the shape of a triangle. This was broken up into 8 smaller triangular pieces and spread throughout labyrinthine dungeons across the game world. One of the main goals in the game is to fight monsters in these underground dungeons and assemble the Triforce.
Beyond The Time Barrier shows steps and ladders (the kind you use to climb up) several times throughout the film, even curious instances when it doesn't make so much sense (ie: near the opening for example a ladder is standing behind Allison when he awakens, captured by inhabitants of the future society. In another scene in the laboratory a set of steps leads up to empty space, a ladder can be seen leaning against the top of the stairs).
A ladder is a key item in the Zelda games, allowing the character to cross gaps and reach blocked off areas. In the original NES / Famicom game the ladder is located in the level 4 dungeon in a hidden room, accessible by pushing a hidden block. A set of steps or stairs is then revealed.
An odd anomaly that takes the shape of a rough black triangle can be seen in the laboratory of the movie. The location corresponds to the 4th piece of the Triforce located in the level 4 of the game next to a set of stairs that apparently lead to nowhere. A ladder is leaned up against the steps.
In the main command center of the citadel in Beyond The Time Barrier, a rope can be seen hanging off a pylon / rope fence on top of a platform containing machinery. Behind this is a large triangular wall. The doorway here also corresponds to the 4th piece of the Triforce in the original game.
In Zelda an enemy dungeon monster that appears as a snake is called a Rope. The 4th level dungeon of the original Zelda game is called "The Snake".
Actress Darlene Tompkins who plays Princess Trirene in Beyond The Time Barrier was later in Blue Hawaii in 1961 with rock musician Elvis Presley. Zelda is the name of the princess in the game series.
I thought the spelling of the name Elvis interesting, Link the hero of Zelda and the people are elf-like in appearance.
I did a previous video on sci-fi movie The Time Travelers (1964). There I shared my observation that there were some similar things shown to the games of Nintendo including Mario and Zelda.
