Part 2 - Kawasaki GTR 1400 | Good Touring Bike?

Ladies and Gents, I have finally lost my mind and took my Kawasaki GTR 1400 out for a Long Ride to Cornwall and back.
This was over 24 hours, 472miles in total and what an experience! I absolutely LOVE THIS BIKE.

Sometimes it’s good to just switch off the navigation devices and “use the force” to get there. Managed to get from Southampton to a relatives house near Birmingham without a map once, just using gut-feeling, luck and half remembered childhood car journeys. Just kept going round the roundabouts until an exit looked familiar. ;D

Great bike, got k1600gt, but i was going to get a second bike bike,but didn't materialise. You can pick up a 1400 for around 5k. Cheaper than my k1600. Shame they stopped making them. Great video dude. Ride safe.😁👍

Thanks for the comment 🙂the K1600GT is an amazing bike, that engine is silky smooth. I'd love to own one. I really wish Kawasaki updated the GTR. It's definitely got a place in the modern world

"The Kawasaki is an overlooked tourer". This comment sums up the big Kwak. Everyone busting a gut to get the K1600 or the RT1250, or a Gold-Wing. But as you say, there are some real bargain buy GTR's out there. Touring for the masses...

Why did you get shot of the AT out of interest? Ive loved the look of the GTR14 for sometime but dont fancy popping the panels off to tinker. Ride safe

The monthly payments, depreciation vs outstanding balance and trying to save a bit more money just meant the AT had to go sadly. I do miss the AT. It was a cracking bike
