PART 2: Making silicone molds for my Clone Trooper helmets!

In this video I go through the very long process of making a silicone mold (12+ hours). I go into detail on each step, cure times, etc. This is my first time doing this so we’ll see how well it does after the whole process is complete!

For the helmets themselves, what level of finishing did you make the mold with, just filler primer?

Filler primer and modeling paste to smooth the helmet.

How often do your raw prints fail on the printer? I feel like mine fails more often than not and I’m wondering if that’s normal. Or maybe I just have a mediocre printer 🤷‍♂️
