I felt that frustration on the mountain...if I knew i had to do this again I don’t know if I could mentally do it. Surgery and recoveries are so hard. You don’t realize what you’ve lost until you can’t have it. I had surgery for endometriosis last year and suffered a complication that knocked me on my butt for months. When I could finally start exercising again it was the best feeling. That was just last month I noticed the pain wasn’t coming back after moving my body. Now I’m outside nearly every day doing walks with my dog and even slowly starting to jog and hike. It does make you grateful for your body. It’s been through a lot and it keeps working. Glad you’re healing well.

Jess I did my ACL playing netball when I was 20! Was extremely painful and such a long road to recovery. I then did it again in my 30’s skiing.. :-( my knee will never be the same! I also look at others and think you don’t know how lucky you are. I felt your pain and understood how you felt knowing it was your ACL and the recovery. Take care I do hope you recover quickly. 💐🌺💕
@Carol-Bell3 жыл бұрын
Jess, you have exactly the right attitude. Hard work, finding things to be thankful for in the midst of a trial, crying when you need to and being strong when you need to, knowing what you need (as in having Garrett and the kids around you), willingness to accept help when you need it, all of those things. Even knowing you will have good and bad days is important. I broke my tibia and fibula ice skating when I was 39 and had three children still at home and remember the long recovery and hard work and trying to take care of things as much as I could. So I understand your emotions. May you literally feel God helping you, because He is, and He loves you so much.💕

Get well, soon, Jessica!! I am glad it wasn't worse. I hope and pray you will heal quickly and completely! 💞

Oh my, Jess. The moment prior to entering the hospital, Garret asked what you were most excited about. You responded with, (a bit of ad lib) “maybe people will be nice to me for a few days.” That made me so sad, because I saw those nasty comments after last week’s video. I am so, so sorry you were injured, but I’m even more sorry for the pain caused by the internet bullies, aimed at you, once again. You and your family exude nothing but love, peace and joy. Long ago, I heard a guy saw, “I don’t let others rent space in my head.” Although, difficult to do, I do try to abide by that advice. Those that want to harm us, whether it be physically or emotionally, don’t deserve a place in our lives. I pray you are healing well and hopefully back at in your beautiful, sunny Hawaiian home, surrounded by the ones that love you unconditionally.
@moonbeamsrainbows30803 жыл бұрын
If you watch the first part .It was implied it was serious almost as if she had died.Just look at Garretts song choice during it.She shouldn't be doing levels she isn't experienced for just so Garrett can get his video content.This has now become about chasing the money and brand.Considering she drove herself to the hospital for surgery the dramatic Part 1 video was click bait. Even the kids are pushed into situations by Garrett.what for ?Better content for the next project?Disney shows?.There is a point as a parent you have to actually be responsible for the kids safety . Garrett is obsessed with this way and I doubt anybody else really gets a say
@Rachel04303 жыл бұрын
@@moonbeamsrainbows3080 I mean an ACL tear is pretty serious, no? - also, she’s been skiing for YEARS, how was she to know that was going to happen? Its like saying McKayla Maroney wasn’t experienced enough at the olympics because she got hurt… if you don’t push your kids; they may never face their fears- shown in these past 20 videos with Manila and Cali surfing and snowboarding.
