Been living in Sweden for the past 14yrs. I have had the Volvo C30, 3 different models of the V70 and currently drive a Toyota Verso. But none of these cars have given me more driving pleasure the the Nissan Sunny B11 that I had owned and driven approximately 2000 km a month. I was in love with my Sunny. A real workhorse. If I ever move back home to Malaysia....will pick one up again for sure. Thank for the review.

Sunny B11 ¿Model 1993? Woah, you guys had a long lasting B11 on production and sale, here in Mexico the B11 stopped selling in 1987, but curiously enough the B13 was made and produced in Mexico from 1993 to 2017, talk about love for the NISSAN Sunny!

Sunny was built here in Malaysia until 1995! I have heard the B13 known as Nissan Tsuru was one of the longest car in production in Mexico, just next to VW Beetle. Love for Sunny 😎

So far it has not been a problem. Quite easy to source for spare parts but some interior plastic trims can be quite difficult especially the door armrests.

The best place is Ipoh, there are many shops which are selling old car parts as you can still see old cars on the roads there. In Klang Valley, you can get in Segambut. Let me know what are the parts that you are looking for and I'll try to source them.

Hands down!!! This is a very well maintained Nissan Sunny.👍👍 Good job. My father and I have been restoring the '83 version of the same series. Some of the body parts have been hard to acquire here in Kenya. Are they available in plenty in Malaysia? E.g Chrome moulds, door moulds, inner door covers. If possible, could I have a rough estimate of these parts?

Thanks for the kind words ☺ the chrome parts and the moulding are pretty hard to find in Malaysia too unless you are lucky with used parts from scrapyards. Mechanical parts are abundant in Malaysia and you can even buy them online here.. All the best with your restoration project!

@@i_mwanagenzi Some parts for the NISSAN B11 can still be found new on sale in Mexico, they are not OEM (Mainly made in Taiwan and others made in locally), new parts to be found are the exterior door handles (in chrome), interior door handles, front headlights (not glass unfortunately, made in plastic). stop lights, front turn lights, front bumper turn lights, side turn lights, roof lamps, and new fiberglass covers for the dashboard (The originals tend to crackle with the sun after many years). This car doesn't originally come with power steering but you can get it installed. Mine doesn't have power steering but it's fine.
