In this video I'm actually installing subwoofers, my amp, along with a line output converter (LCi2Pro) which is usually needed with today's newer cars unless you have an aftermarket head unit. In order to install the line output converter you need to tap into your factory subwoofer that is in the back of the car but wired to the amplifier. There isn't an easier way to tap into the wires without actually going going to the wiring harness that is hooked up to the Factory Amp. For the 2022 IS 350 the AMP is in your trunk located on the right side. You Will Need to Tap into the 6th and 21st wire.. The 6th wire down is *Lavender and Grey which is you + positive and your 21st Wire which is the 6th one down as well, on the opposite side which is *Lavender with a Blue line which is your - Negative Tap. Since you can only tap in to one subwoofer once you run the wires to your line output converter you will need to run jumpers to the other side. Meaning it doesn't matter if you hook into the right or left of the line output converter. You will just have to run a jumper from either side you choose to the left or right +/- I hope this helps!!

Do you know if the subwoofer wiring is jn the same location on the 2021+ IS with the Mark Levinson Amp?

Bro…….I had a shop install my sub and idk what they did they screwed up the whole surrround sound that the vehicle offers. I’m pretty upset but they will look into it tomorrow. It sounds like the speakers are just naturally higher tone now even tho I’m turning treble and midds down. When I play it loud it hurts my head because it doesn’t sound balanced. Any idea?

Yup. Same happened to me after mine was already installed. They worked on it, reset the computer and the speakers were louder, better mid range, and high's, however they did it on accident or to do a favor. Not sure. Either way I believe when the reset the computer, it recalibrated what the speakers were set to versus what the amp can put out and since the amps are rated at the premium installation of Mark Levinson speakers, now the cheaper ones may sound distorted. Meaning I might try and change the speakers to a better brand. I believe the packages come in 7 or 900 watt and 17 speaker/1800 watt packages for the upgraded Mark Levinson Speaker package. Either way they didn't install the correct speakers from the beginning, I think the dealer bought the package and didnt add them when they arrived at the dealership to make other models sound better, someone pulled a slick one or a 100 other reasons. But I get what your saying. Tell them update your stuff and put your sound/updates when you bought it back to normal. Bet all your update codes are gone and where you bought the Lex from isn't there. Such as your home dealership!?

The only thing I could think of is they tapped into the wrong speakers. Sorry my reply never went through on this but I would have them fix the wires that they messed up and have it done by a shop that knows what they're doing or follow my steps these wire positive and negatives for the sub are correct based on the sheet for the Lexus IS350 F Sport

All you have to do is go to a local speaker / sub store that installs subwoofers and they have a website that they get all their information from that they have to pay for so you might have to pay them $5 or $10 to get the information

Hi, great content and I just subbed to your channel. I have a question I already added a sub and amp for the sub. So the question is can I replace the factory amp so my mids and highs can get more power? I replaced all factory speakers and the factory amp isn’t doing my highs justice. Just asking cuz I don’t want to loose function of Bluetooth and navigation. Thanks ahead of time

I am not a 100% sure because the 30 prong plug has Multi Wire connections and I don't know if they only power the speakers and the screen. Where I got the information for the positive and negative wires it had a description for all of the Wires. But I do not have the document. I believe I saved it and I will check on it tomorrow. I will try and take a screenshot or at least look at the document and let you know what wire is for what. I'll do my best to get you an answer.

Also yes you can in theory replace the amp for all the speakers however remember that amp doesn't just power the speakers for some models.

i have a 2022 es 350 f sport, im sure the amp is the same. is there a color diagram for this? i looked everywhere to find what each wire goes to and im about to just start tapping wires from my doors to get the signal because this is dumb

The wires for the positive and negative as I described in the video as well as in the description are the same I believe For ES. Once you get to the AMP 30 Prong Plug all you have to do is go down 6 From the left and 6 On the right. As long as they're the same exact color As I mentioned then you are good.

Did you get any humming noise from the sub ? Did you disconnect the ANC module ?
