I like you showing that you don’t need experience tools. So many won’t craft because they don’t have money. Art is therapy not about how many toys you have

I love how you show crafts. I’ve been watching you for about five or six years and I love the way you deliver your your teaching you’re so easy to listen to and Watch thank you so much I praise God for people like you in the craft business and I hope God blesses you beyond and above all that you could imagine. God bless you and your family.

I believe one of my favorite things about you Maymay and the great tutorials you give us is that you choose to do things the way that best fits YOU; what works best for YOU and as you always advise users “you do you” instead of worrying about all those who try to say “oh you should have done it this way” or “that way” or “why didn’t you do xxxx”.... just keep doing how you want or what works for you 🙂 You take the time to provide us tutorials & content completely free and for that we are so grateful!! Please keep doing projects exactly how YOU want, we love them 🙂

I needed a hobby when I retired, so I've watched many art/craft videos in this pursuit. As a newbie, no to scant instructions really frustrated me. Your videos are full of precise measurements & anticipate & answer so many questions I have about process. You have the best ones for these composition books by far. Thank YOU for sharing your expertise with us. I truly appreciate it!!

I do agree on the black and so do professional interior designers. That black looks elegant and males the colors pop. Also gives the eye a place to rest.

Maymay, I am so glad I found your videos. You have given me some great ideas. Unfortunately, the Lord did not bless me with kids of my own but my two nephews recently got married and because our mother has passed away, but was an amazing cook, I'm going to be making recipe books with our family recipes for my two new nieces-in-law..🙂 as Christmas gifts!. This is such a great idea thank you thank you!

When I alter composition books I always cover the edge. I love having ribbon bookmarks - they never fall out and get lost. I simply glue a narrow ribbon or two (never wider than 1/4 inch) to the outside edge of the book and use heat and bond to attach fabric or wide ribbon to cover up the edge that's showing. It's totally worth the extra steps to have a built in bookmark.

I think if you have a circle cutout of paper you can make the first one by just drawing a half circle three times in a row. Then just cut the half circles at top. Then cut straight down to separate the markers. You can also find scalloped edged scissors to make the scalloped edged designs or rules too. Or if your good at drawing . Just draw one and cut it out. If you do more than one. You can use the other as a template for future ones.

This is beautiful 🤩 I made several journals out of composition notebooks several years ago and gave them away as gifts but I think I may still have 2 or 3 tucked away somewhere. I wish I would have seen this video before hand to see all your neat tips but I did learn as I went and I hope they are still lasting for the people I gifted them to. I am looking forward to trying your much simpler technique as I still have a stack of composition notebooks I can use. And that pocket with the pages, is brilliant! Thank you for sharing, have a blessed day ☺️

So pretty, Maymay.😊 I think I will make a gardening theme Grateful journal for my sister. She enjoys gardening, and she needs seeds of hope right now. She was recently diagnosed with a potentually curable cancer, but it could be difficult getting there. She may like to write down what she is grateful for. And, I have a host of stamps I havens used yet in that theme. Also, tying a bird theme in there. Birds are naturals in a garden, and she enjoys birdwatching, too.

I love this composition book Maymay! I have made myself a sorta daily journal, but I don't write in it daily. I might miss a few days and then think "oh I forgot to write this down". I also made the front page pocket like you have & the inside cover pockets. I love the closure you have done. I just used a large clip since it was for myself. I'll be making another for myself and will do the strap closure, it's actually much prettier than the black clip. Be safe & TYFS.
