Love the spring clip I had one on my coyote blue and lost the sheath which I need to go find because I miss it so much.

Love the spring clip. I have taken them off some of my sheaths and moved them to the other side, and carry the knife rear-iwb scout style.

I had the XL and would almost consider getting it again to swap my scales with the 20 scales. Imagine the XL with the 20th anniversary scales!! Would be awesome!

Black-Rhino for ever , ce couteau est tellement génial !

I do not speak freanch, but I love my Black Rhino as well, it is a battoning beast. Frankly the choil, forward jimping, just excellent for detail work without being a flimsy blade. Interesting comparison to the becker, frankly the TOPS heat treatment is superior. Differential heat treatments are simply superior. Love the wear look as well, that took some heavy use to achieve as the traction coat is very durable, not that the knife needs it. Sweet sheath. I still have the stock Kydex which I have round file modified with finger grooves between the holes for more grip.

...the only problem with the Dart and Kukri is that since I have the Prather War Bowie and Operator 7 they are already so capable at heavy camp/utility tasks that I have a hard time justifying buying more blades :D
@outerlimitless4 жыл бұрын
I want the War Bowie...it's on my list. If I got the Operator 7 I would grind off the upper quillion/guard. But other than that, the Operator 7 looks great and I can tell it would perform wonderfully.
@arctodussimus61983 жыл бұрын
I have edc’d my Prather War Bowie off and on for over six years. I carry it rear scout style inside the waistband at a 40 degree angle (+/-). Hardly ever know it’s there. It was my go-to Bush Blade until I got a Tahoma Field Knife. Want to get the DART to complement my Armageddon. Trace Rinaldi designed a couple of winners with those two. I’ve had one in my hand a couple of times, and just love it.

The spring clip is hard to put in and replace too. That said, it works and it's simple so it makes it durable. I want to be able to turn it and do horizontal. I can even put it in a pocket. I'm good with it

I think it is effective. It definitely works better than other options out there...not the BEST option, but I would say SOLID option.

You don't loose just some ability to strike a ferro rod with differential heat treat, the spine WILL not hold an edge. Striking at the tip works because the tip is hardened. Coating has almost zero effect on striking a ferro rod if the knife has a hardened spine except the powder coat garbage that so many makers still use.
