I have used gas laws for density correction which seems incorrect to me because gas laws can’t be applied for saturated steam flow. Rather steam table should be used for density correction.

Great explanation brother. If you can say the exact meaning of design conditions it would be awesome, for production engineers, we always get two values, operational data and equipment design data, w.r.t pressure and temperature, I hope we need to use operation design pressure and temperature values. Pls give your comment on this brother Example stripper operation pressure is 10kgf/cm2 and column design pressure is 15kgf/cm2g. We need to use 10 design pressure right? Orelse will there any special design conditions for orifice specially based on its location?

Sandeep bhai... Mai aaj tak doubt me hu... Orifice Q ko vary karta hai ya fir velocity increase karta hai... BFP ke lub oil line me orifice lagate hai to wo flow ko decrease karta hai ki velocity ko increase karta hai...

Sir, compressibility factor will remains same for different temperature and pressure or it will vary in actual mass flow rate equation??

For practical purposes we assume constant.

Hello, Can u please explain how to convert volumetric to mass flow and reverse mass flow to volumetric flow Like M3/hr to Kg/hr and kg/hr to M3/hr

Hello sir.. In the panel every flow is converted to Nm3/h . How to convert m3/h to Nm3/h and vice versa?
@thecozycorner12282 жыл бұрын
N means Normal. Nm3 is used usually in gas flow specially air flow.
