A very strange list. Lots of historically important games missing: - Dune II (a DOOM-like revelation for RTS) - Heroes of Might and Magic (these spawned a cult, HOMM 2 or 3 must be in the list); - The Incredible Machine (the original physics sandbox game); - one of Need for Speeds (Or Test Drives - first properly fast arcade 3D racing); - Duke Nukem 3D (Hail to the King, baby!); - Unreal (one can't overstate the impact of this game on the industry!); - Myst (PC CD-ROM killer app); - Worms (A genre as of itself); - Boulder Dash (it's not good, but the genre still lingers on) - At least one of Peter Molineux games (Populous, Syndicate. Not Dungeon Keeper, as Japanese Chaos Seed is more original); - UFO: Enemy Unknown (the most well-known Gollop brothers game); - one of Dizzy titles; - Final Fantasy I or VI; and - Rogue (FFS, this should be in here). Yes, I am PC-skewed, but many of these releases were available on Amiga and consoles.

Nocturne survival horor game should be in top 100. better graphics ang game than resident evil and slient hills. rocket knigh sparskter md should be in list best md game after sonic 3 and knucles. no fallout on list when list maded fallout tv show number 1 on world.

I may agree with Fallout. But are Nocturne, Sparkster/ Rocket Knight historically important? I mean these are good games, but are they more important then Rogue, Worms or Myst?

@@volo870 when myst out on pc 1995 ıthink it was technical masterpiece. it get old quicly when 1996 tomb radier or quake likes games out. when Noctunre out 1999 it was same and most importnatnly it not get old quicly infact it look like head to head with today ray tracing graphic. every one know myst evey one know tomb radier quake etc resident evil whatever. no one knows nocturne thats is crime of pc gaming. and gaming history. outcast 1999 pc game another one like this. open wolrd game before gta3. yet every one only knows gta3. who made this lists even the best of magazines dont aware nocturne and oucast even exist. god damn mario card gamers. fallout ofcurse like that too only after betheada get ip with new 3d falllout games it got popularty on gaming wolrd on history but problem is if first fallout game way better than those. they chose fallout new vegas on pouplar lists at best never first game. all these games commenly share one thing. not out console stuck on old pc. nocturne and outcast suppose out sega drecamst lile hlaf life port but early death of sega console they not out.

@@volo870 rocket knight not jsut best game afer sonic mario its best mascot charater. its more important proety for konami then mgs even castleviana and contra. yes rocketknight more imprtant than cotnra without a doupt. rocket knight collecion will out soon see yourself.
