This is a Part 2 video documenting our roadtrip to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, on Anangu Land in the Northern Territory. If you haven't seen Part 1 - go watch that first!
This video sees us enjoying Kata-Tjuta and then adventuring back home over 3 days to Kaurna Country (Adelaide, South Australia).
We like to enjoy every day of an overlanding trip and so choose to drive about 5-6 hours each day rather than spending long, tiring days pushing our bodies. We recommend doing the same!
We camped at Marla Travellers Rest and Glendambo Roadhouse - both are set up to accommodate campers and caravaners.

• We recently upgraded from a cooler with ice to a National Luna Fridge and Battery & Solar system to power it. It was the best upgrade of all time. The ease it brings to not be lugging around a heavy cooler and emptying melted ice water and having food floating around in that ice water getting spoiled is just something else. We love our Nomad PDU 100Ah lithium battery. It keeps our fridge going, our ice creams frozen and charges our portable devices when needed too! Watching from Tauranga nz.. Uluru is a special place also kings canyon been 2x and want to go back over for a few months and get a Jimmy

Hi Craig! We have a Nomad PDU 100aH portable lithium battery mounted in the back which charges off the 12v in the back of the car as we drive. It’s a low draw 5w charging system so that it doesn’t overheat the existing Jimmy 12v wiring. We also use a 200w solar panel/blanket to charge the battery/keep the fridge (National Luna 50L dual zone) going when off grid and not driving much for more than three days. It’s a great setup!
