It may not be a conscious agenda but Kenya is a neo-colonial state that is still obsessed with the outside...we never truly decolonized as most African countries but difference is, most of them did not have direct colonial rule like Kenya with a significant settler population...only Kenya, Zimbabwe, SA, Namibia & Algeria had that but South Africa is a special case. Our national identity and culture were deeply eroded
