I am a proud owner of a 1978 model ambassador. Fitted with 1991 matador. It has covered more than 2 lakhs of kms. Done full engine work standard size crank. Due to oil service done every 5000 kms. It had gone to shabarimala more than 50 times. Madras... Tirunelly vayanad...airports..my 2daughters wedding... Late my father had driven it... So much attached to us... Like a member of my family. Its no. Is K. R. P. 8062...long live amby...

You won't be able to fit an engine now.... Rto does not permit it. You can but an ambassador instead. I am in bangalore and am a malayali in case you want to convey anything to the garage owner
