It's called wiggling the foot when you try to readjust foot position on clutch. But it's completely wrong method which we all use on daily basis. It's way better to release the clutch to the bite point with heel in the air then put it on the floor to make minor adjustments. This will be much better in long run than to wiggle your foot on the clutch pedal or shift your vehicle in to neutral and readjust it. Btw I also used your method and in heavy traffic, it causes problems when we try to readjust the foot position then I find this new method which is life saver in those congested situations.

Bro keeping heel in the air is quite difficult while finding biting point in my tiago 2020. It doesn't give a good idea of the biting point and the clutch is too soft if I compare it with other cars in the segment. I am from Himachal Pradesh and there's rarely any flat road in my locality. The way one controls the clutch greatly depends upon the vehicle, the orientation of clutch. ( position,height,softness/hardness).
