Part 26 Suzuki Samurai Bed Liner Installation

2nd coat of roll-on Herculiner bed liner for the floors of my Samurai. Tried different technique using cheap sponges. Used alcohol to save a roller for next time. Fix problem with window not rolling up. Samurai Jimny Sierra SJ413 SJ410

Hello, if you live in a dry place, what you can also use is ( em português: Vaselina ) cream, put it inside the gutter and you can also apply it to the rubbers, it keeps them moist and the gutters lubricated.

Hey, yeah I'm in Tucson, it's extremely dry here. I have a video a ways back, all that felt and rubber is brand new. Got a kit and changed it all out one afternoon.

If you happen to have any left over that stuff works great on your rear cab corners and that black trim on the bottom of your doors on the outside of the door and the door panels

I'm thinking I might have some leftover. I'm prob gonna do a wrap (I really want to practice and what better vehicle to do it on) so I'll need to do something with those corners and bottoms for sure.

Man I put those same diamond playe door covers on mine. But they came black. Yours look like they got a good rattle can a few miles back haha. After you took the time to take all those out and have the whole panel off. Should have wiped and cleaned it up and put a fresh coat of black on it.

I'm definitely planning on doing something different for door panels, might try to make something or if I keep em they'll prob end up gray to match the interior. Looks like whoever did it didn't even take the time to remove anything, just went for it. I'm surprised the window isn't black lol.

acetone will clean up herculiner that get on any surface including skin.... learned this from working with fiberglass and resin for many years.

Right on, good to know. The instructions said anything alcohol based would get it off and keep it from hardening. I tried the denatured alcohol and the 91% isopropyl alcohol and both seemed to work pretty well.

Yup that stuff is your best friend when working with epoxy and fiberglass resin lol.

The KZbinrs who originally recommended it to me said there's a free version but she was saying it's harder to work with or she didnt like it nearly as much for some reason. She only uses it because her bf has a big channel and he's always used it. Maybe she never really gave the free version a fair shake if he already had the paid version, idk. I suppose it's worth a shot, just a pain to learn something new when you don't have much time for anything. Hopefully they're all somewhat similar and easy to transition from.
