Part 3/5 Aerith Sculpting Timelapse In Blender

Here's making of videos of my Aerith Gainsborough fan art sculpture. In this process I focused myself on the art of sculpting. I hope you guys can learn something trough this videos. I would say that this is definitely not one and only workflow for sculpting characters, but it's effective for learning volume, forms and details.
The video is consist of many different sculpting session put together into one. Any skipped or unrecorded footage is due to technical error.
Any reference images seen in the video I do not own them. All founded in Google and it's all for references and educational purposes only.

I think learning anatomy in that regards is gonna be the most beneficial.

It's not too hard typically in human our brow extends slightly more than the rest of the face around close to the upper cheek bones it's good to look at photos with exaggerated shadows or overhead lights you'll see the proment features of the face but be sure to still use normal photos too otherwise the result might look like the incredible hulk

Im really curious if UE5s Nanite will be able to work with such a model when you'd ditch retopo/UVs and vertex paint the whole thing as is

This is very awesome man! I have a bit of question, at 1:00:23 why did you create a cube, subdiv and cast it to make a sphere? Why not just import the sphere? I'm just a beginner and this little things make me wonder really.

The topology is far more friendly with a cube.
