Can you please guide us on the difference between personal statement (500 words) and extended statement (1000 words)? Clarendon requires both.

In my time Clarendon didn't require an extra statement, what do they ask for?

Thank you so much and of course! Start whatever way you want - it's YOUR personal statement! There's no right or wrong way to do it as long as you address what they want to know - e.g. Why are you applying, future plans, your experience, and all the other things we talk about in these videos. Starting with a question is different and interesting in my opinion and it'd be interesting to then link it to your motivation for applying. Best of luck!
