Hey there,
I’ve been out of town but here is my next video deep diving into my craft room 😜. Part 3 is going in detail behind my desk area 😬🤦🏻‍♀️😂🤷🏻‍♀️. Come along with me as we open all he drawers and look at all the messes lol. Then I’ll post updated videos showing if I’ve made any changes to those areas. It’s time to purge those rooms (just a little bit lol)

You hit the nail on the head. Its so cute and hard to purge. Now that I'm older reality is starting to hit home, I just don't have enough life to get through all of my stuff and there is no way I can pass up new designs and tools. So I can only keep the stuff I use and really love. Its going to be a tough 2024 purge year. Thank you for the inspiration.

I have been watching your org series with much interest. I am so weird, the thing in your space that gives me the most inspiration is your tape drawer! I'm always buying tape it seems and when you opened your tape stash drawer, I got really happy. Now, I'm on a mission to stock up on tape and find a drawer to store it! Lol! I just have to laugh about it! You're the best!

I started on my mission! I have found a drawer. I had 10 rolls delivered this week. I plan to have another 10 delivered next week! Spent the last 2 days reorganizing paper shelves in my craft room closet. Got hubby schooled on how I plan on moving the furniture around in my craft room this weekend. My youngest son just moved out, left a ton of boxes, so I can pack everything up! So excited!

The “I” in ROYGBIV is indigo (not iris). But I also like iris. (Sorry couldn’t hold back my science teacher electromagnetic spectrum comment LOL). I’m loving these videos and am feeling inspired. Not inspired enough to actually get any of my stuff organized yet, 😂 so keep the videos coming! I started scrapbooking 26 years ago and oh my goodness the collection of crafting supplies is an issue. I love how you have your like items clustered together-I feel like I need to buy 10 tables (let’s pretend it would be enough) and sort sort sort, but I always find a reason not to start. Maybe a summer break project! (Again let’s pretend that would actually get done)🤣☀️🦥

Thank you for reminding us to start!! I cleaned out a kallax and bought some baskets that fit perfect from Target, and now I'm sorting through my dies. I dislike the adjustable legs, I have one that keeps going down and the edge of my desk wobbles, grrr. Good luck moving all that stuff to fix yours. Mines gonna just wobble lol

I miss my cuttlebug. Easily put away and great size. I sold it when I got my sizzix. But I’m always looking for one on marketplace 😂 …. Love your craft room. Thinking of showing my craft room. Still need some convincing. Filming is tedious. And I’m not a big talker 😂

I'm loving this series so far! I got a craft building, started moving stuff out, then volunteered for an alleged 4-6 hour a week event planning gig to help a friend. That turned into 40-60 hours a week, and I got demotivated very quickly, then got very sick for months. I was finding it hard to get going again but watching you organize your room has me excited to get started again! I am very interested to see how you organize everything, and I feel much better about hoarding paper now, lol. Still not ready for KZbin (not sure people would like a comedy crafting channel where I fall over my supplies and cut my finger off with my Cutter Bee scissors), but maybe one day... I'm excited to see more episodes!

Oh my goodness, yes! We all do the same LOL - I don't quite have as much cards and mini albums because they take up so much room. I have a little store online that I try and sell them or I'll go to local craft shows and sell them. Makes me happy when someone enjoys my little creations. I feel like you though - if I die, they better get treasured and go to someone that loves them as much as me. They are not to be sold in a garage sale for .25 LOL AND OMG, I saved those Extra containers as well. I had to purge recently to clear my clutter to create more stuff.

You're not alone! We all have tons of stuff that we have bought and never used, stuff we forgot we had then bought it again, and maybe again..lol, My favorite is buying something I've seen someone use and when it arrives in the mail I've forgotten what I wanted it for or what to even do with it. 🤣 I tell myself that I can't die anytime soon because I still have so many new products I haven't used and A LOT of projects to get to. Watching your videos is getting me into the mood to organize more. I can't deal with clutter and stuff everywhere scattered about so I'm good there, but I could do better with organizing it all. Oh yeah, the article you clipped out that is hanging on the small blackboard was TFF. I was cracking up.

I see that I have a lot of the same things as you. The difference is you are willing to get rid of some stuff. I’m not. While my stuff is fairly organized, I have way too much. I’m in the process of reworking some areas of my craft room. I’m just being creative with the space, but I know I really should be purging.

I know I know! It’s so hard lol. But I’m mostly getting rid of things that are older, that have been gifted but I’ll never use, got as freebies, and/or dupes. At least that’s where I’m starting lol. We’ll see how this goes lol

Yes I’ve actually seen those now on Amazon. I bought all mine way before Ali Express and Temu started copying everything so here in America. Usually it’s a smaller size but I’m sure it still will do what it needs 😉

It will take me all year! My problem is I start going thru stuff and fund myself just looking at all the pretties! I just love all your authentique papers! Lol hey it’s fun to sometimes just enjoy what you have and look at your pretties. I always do it at least once a year. But that’s how I usually know what I have (for the most part lol). How is the room coming?

I freely admit I have a paper problem- I love collections of products, so I end up buying the paper, ephemera, stickers, enamel dots- you know, all.the.things 😂 If I use any, I feel like I need to replace it so I don’t run out 😬 so I guess I am a “collector”. We recently had to do a basement remodel due to water issues, so my craft room is new-but smaller and I lost storage. However during the 7 month project 🙄 I “collected” more.of.the.things, so not only do I have all of my supplies from before, but A LOT of new things + I started scrapbooking again. I have done some purging, but I still have bins of things that I haven’t unpacked and haven’t used in a long time. I did purchase an IKEA Kallax shelf (3x4) and put it in one of our bedrooms in place of a dresser. I store all my 12x12 albums in the 4 of the cube sections. Then in the next row, I have bins and store all of my 6x8 snap albums- and I have lots of them so I always have some on hand to use when needed. The bottom 4 cubes have doors on the fronts and that is where I store extra 8-1/2x 11 cardstock packs, a few Creative Memories albums, and some off season collections of paper, etc. In my actual craft room, I used many Target cubes, which are similar to the Michael’s cubes, and a few Michael’s cubes- some with 3 drawers, 4 drawers, and open ones with 3 sections to store my paper- vertically. I do have 2 sections of built ins- one pantry cabinet, an upper cabinet with open shelving, and a custom built in bottom cabinet with pull-out shelves inside that are spaced so my stamps/dies fit- well, most of them. I do love to organize, but it is overwhelming when I have more stuff than space. Plus I really would rather be scrapbooking, working on my Traveler’s Notebooks, or making cards. I think I just need to start going through and getting rid of the things I don’t use that are already in my space before going through all of the bins in the garage. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your space- I am glad I am not the only one that has too much of all.the.things! :)

Oh I feel ya. Yea definitely start in your space first and do a little at a time balancing organizing/purging with crafting time 😉. It feels good to have your space under control. but shoot, when Christmas time comes we’ll see how I do. I always buy waayyy too much at Christmas lol

Love the progress. I totally agree. I hate, hate my white items turning yellowish. Some even get like sticky and I can’t figure out why. Keep up the great work. Put up your “ buy me a coffee” you deserve it. Oh I use my Cuttlebug daily love it.

You are very organised and have such lovely things to craft with. What do I do with what I make? I sell a few things in my Etsy shop but I mostly give everything away either as gifts or for local charities so they can raise funds. I have no problem giving things away because I’ve enjoyed using my stash - finally!! 😂 xx

Yes I will and I did mention that in all the videos. People asked to see, in detail, what is in my room then I’ll do follow up videos once I’ve redone those areas. BUT some areas are already organized and you can get ideas from that.
