Sarah’s sewing Room - How I keep everything organized

Here is a tour of my quilt studio in my home.
List of my Favorite things
Really Useful Storage Drawers Large 8 drawers from Michaels. Really Useful storage Drawers Narrow 8 drawer from Office depot. Really useful Storage drawers large 6 drawers from Joanne Fabrics.
The Container Store
Really useful box drawer inserts, and parts bin containers used for needle and misc storage for small items.
Ikea
Cutting table using the Kallax Drawer units. 2- 8 cubbies and 2 - 4 cubbies plus 2 standard desktops.
Fabric Scraps are the Jonaxel wire basket system.
Ironing Station and machine Storage Raskog rolling carts.
Machine Feet Storage boxes from harbor freight.
Sewing machine cabinets by Koala Cabinets.

Absolutely beautiful! I moved one embroidery machine downstairs in case I don’t feel well. I have two Dream 2’s in my attic space that’s 700 sq ft. I have another Babylock 6x10 Flourish II downstairs and another one upstairs with the two Dreams

My cabinets are from Koala. They recently discontinued the large cabinets. They now make the drawers separate. However once you set the 2 pieces together they are the same size. I only have one back lift up this creates the larger space. The 2 smaller cabinets are also made from Koala. They are still made. My 2 large machines are a Brother Luminaire, and a Bernina 830. I also have a Babylock Triumph serger and a Babylock Jane.

Holy Smokes! Just to set this huge room up!.....Gorgeous storage. Is that CD holder thing still available? I've never seen such a stand- and I would definitely NEED the apple/cow boxes!!! ❤️

They are parts bins. Currently, the only place that carries the colored versions is the Container Store.

The floor is made by PERGO and does have architectural drawings on it.

Five star sewing room. Worth watching all the way through. How effective is it, how functional? Since creating this, have you needed to redesign it?

Good questions; I have tweaked the space since this video. The workspace was/is very functional. I added another Scan n Cut to my collection, purchased and created a workspace for that, and made a different Ironing station. But the overall space is still the same I flipped the cutting table and machine section to make room for the scan n cuts, The ironing station is different but still in the same space.

I typically use small push pins. If you are concerned about holes in the wall the velcro command strips work really well.

I used Pergo Portfolio Blueprint Smooth Laminate from Lowes. That particular colorway has been discontinued. However, they still make the flooring. It has been fantastic and it's holding up well.

And I just start sewing garments recently and is a totally beginner for quilting. I tried to make a very simple quilt but somehow not all my squared pieces would line up nicely 😭….
