@@garymalm Thanks Gary. Totally agree. The st1000 in plenty for my little boat but this tiller pilot came with my boat when I bought it so I’m thinking due to it being mounted in the incorrect position over the years it has suffered. Thanks for the comment!

Would you feel confident going out to the GBR on your boat? I enjoy finding these trailer sailor vids, you guys can get into all the shallow stuff.

@@quadcam24v I would feel comfortable heading out to the reef in my boat. I’m hoping to line up a trip heading out from 1770 to the reef for a few days. Hardest thing would be picking the best weather window.

Hi James, loving your videos and adventure. Thanks for sharing. A couple of questions please. How many 12V batteries do you have? Do you rely on your solar blanket to charge or is the outboard charging too? Which navigation package are you running? Is your display an iPad? Thank you!

Hi Peter, thanks for the support. I have a single 100ah Lithium battery that is charged only via the fixed panel and when possible a solar blanket. I use Navionics and satellite imagery on an iPad mini for navigation.
