Part 3 : The Nisargadatta Sadhana , Abiding in the 'I am'

This is a selection of key pointers taken from the book Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj The Complete Works. Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj always stressed on the necessity of doing the Sadahana ( Practice ) in order to realize ourtrue nature.Throughout his dailogues he has given us very clear instructions about how to do Sadhana ( Practice) and what he experieneced in the process.
Nisargadatta Maharaj (17 April 1897 - 8 September 1981), born Maruti Shivrampant Kambli, was an Indian guru of nondualism, belonging to the Inchagiri Sampradaya, a lineage of teachers from the Navnath Sampradaya and Lingayat Shaivism.

Pls explain 'the feeling of I am,is it just to affirm I am' during meditation.Is it to keep repeating I Am through out?

During initial period of practice affirmation of ' I am ' may prove helpful till the time your Sadhana matures. Feeling of I am is subjective, its pure consciousness. As your practice matures, there is no need to to repeat I am, I am, since these are mere words.
