I dont like vw's, but this is a cool swap none the less. Most people do the Honda K series or the Older B series swaps. I have not seen anyone really do anything else unless it was custom rwd stuff.

If you're deleting the EGR and ASV you will need to fit a Blow Off Valve because the EGR valve has 2 functions. Use the vacuum pipe to the EGR as your BOV control. Once the ECU has EGR delete that vacuum pipe will still function the BOV 👍

@@Bodgednboosted I have a PD150 at stage 2 putting out 340bhp and 600Ib torque. I watched the original EGR valve act as a BOV, seen and heard it after removing EGR pipe. Connecting a BOV to the vacuum line that controlled the EGR/BOV operates it perfectly once the EGR software is deleted. I'm a qualified mechanic with 30 years experience and been tuning PDs for decades. Pretty sure I'm not wrong 👍

@@jordonleedell no the egr doesn't open for EGR reasons when throttling off, why would egr pulse when changing gear? 🤣

@@jordonleedell where is the BOV on a standard PD lump? It has one because it uses the EGR valve, that does not operate at high load and rpm
