I'm going to compare combo or integrated washer dryers with almost 100% drying facility. Washer dryers are more convenient, occupy less space and more price effective compared to standalone washing machine and separate dryer machines. U r Amezing. I am using most of appliances as per recommendation. I purchased samsang 8/6 kg washer dryer before 10 days . Main purpose of washer dryer is i don't want that mess in rainy seasone.but their is so many wrinkles after 100% drying cycle. And lints r also their . Even that wrinkles u can not iron .is that mormal.wht should i do. I spoke with customer care they r saying use prewash ,but no use

Hi, thank you :) If it is fully cotton, yes there will be wrinkles after drying. You can consider using a fabric conditioner to reduce the wrinkling, but it will still be there for full cotton (not so much for other fabrics).

Hi! 100 % will give you cupboard dry - so you can just fold and keep inside. 75% needs air drying

Great video as usual!!!! Finally found some one with my wavelength :) I think LG also has a washer dryer combo and LG has kept their promise of being Life's good in the appliances category unlike their consumer electronics. But as you said Samsung pioneered it first and then were followed by LG and others. Hope it is as good as Samsung as both are from South Korea. One thing to note here is going forward it would be connected tech which will make users select appliances based on connectivity with Google, Apple or Alexa, In the initial stages they will support them all and after a reasonable reach they will cut out the competitors to make us stuck in one single loop where we replace existing appliance with the new one from the same brand making life easier as a change in brand means losing on connectivity. And washer dryer combo purchases will increase as the apartment and balcony sizes gets lower making the balcony free of rods and clothes.

Hi Sivakumaran, yes! And I've seen the functioning of both - and both work really well. I'm sad I did not purchase washer-dryers previously. You are absolutely right - with the size of apartment utility areas reducing or disappearing altogether in some places, this is a good space saving fit - esp. if one does not want to dry their laundry in the living room / bedroom balcony - completely spoiling the aesthetics of it 🥲

please help me with my confusion over my Bosch Washer Dryer WNA14400IN! i have done two experiments using same set of clothes which support Warm wash and Tumble dry low! 1) after washing spinning and drying procedure including wrinkle guard procedure using WNA14400IN Bosch washer dryer, my clothes are getting totally wrinkled that it will take another hard time to iron all the clothes. Is that normal to get clothes fully wrinkled on drying function on the above washer dryer????? 2) Because when the same set of clothes are washed spinned in the same BOSCH washer dryer and dried on hanger instead of the washer dryer, it is ready to wear! no nedd of ironing the clothes at all!

Hi, pure cotton clothes do get wrinkled in a washer dryer, mixed fabrics are better. Try using a fabric softener along, it has helped to reduce wrinkling.

IFB was not changed yet, still they're selling old stuff, and if you are going to buy Bosch, please think about it, because Bosch was honest they're interduced only two models, what a great gimmick of Bosch, while globally launching amazing products, lg having some issues, I think Faber is good , but please ask mam for better information, mm sorry I don't know about other brands like simens and Voltas .. etc

Hi Rahul - there have been some changes in washing machine technology in the last decade, although not too much. I believe the drums became stainless steel from plastic, drums had some elements / incisions introduced which increase friction for washing, inverter motors for better efficiency, smart appliances to detect issues, schedule cycles and so on. Except the first two - the others may have limited impact on the cleaning itself.

I took a quick look at both of these, the specs are almost the same in both - both are 1400rpm, have a range of programs, would take an equivalent amount of time to dry. I would still go with this amzn.to/3FlM63K as IFB seems to have some issues with service in the recent past - could be specific to location though.

Hi Akash! I normally try to include ones that have a few reviews atleast so we can get some qualitative feedback. Since Voltas Beko did not have any, did not include it. Normally while going for a washer dryer - if you will be mainly using drying for all cycles - better to go for one that has less difference between washing and drying capacity (e.g., 7 - 5 kgs may be better than 8-5 kgs) as you will be unnecessarily paying for that extra washing capacity which you won't use.

Hi Akash, you can do that. If you have enough space - you could get a separate dryer alone. I did not, so chose a washer dryer combo. So normally for a dryer to do its job well, it needs some space for the clothes to move/spin in the tub. If you fill to capacity of the washer - it cannot do that and then drying will not be 100%. So you have 2 options: 1 load only upto the drying capacity - this is what i do. Which means about 3/4 of thr tub is full 2 load full but then remove clothes after wash cycle. I think this may be cumbersome. For 6 people - I recommend you to go for a larger size. You get a 9-7 combo I believe. But make sure you look at my video on the electricity consumption - if that is a concern for you 😊

Hello, I bought the LG FHD1057STB 10 kg washer dryer a few weeks ago and it has been shrinking my clothes and making them dull. Tried a cold wash + low temperature dry and delicate wash + low temp dry as well, but it still doesn’t help. Customer service is clueless. Appreciate any suggestions please ?

Hi Amit, some people do experience some shrinkage - this is the case even in a standalone dryer, but mostly that’s if they are not washed in the right cycle. Always better to sort clothes by type of clothes. Some things to try (some of which you already have) - reduce temperature (around 30 degree should be enough is what I’ve heard), reduce spin rate (higher rpm means higher stretching and twisting of clothes that could break or shrink structure), remove clothes immediately after wash (leaving it in for longer leaves it in the heat longer), sorting clothes correctly (don’t mix cottons with others). As for color - sorting is important here too in addition to the above and sometimes using fabric softener helps. I always put clothes that I don’t want the machine to wring much in a laundry bag - that includes some dark colored polo shirts of my husband and delicates.

Hi Mugda, it was the same case for me. The service person got an extension pipe and attached it, but he did a shoddy job - he attached two pipes together which did not fit well, so I used a tape to keep them together. It's working for now. I recommend you buy a longer pipe and use that. Like this one amzn.to/3AGD5PP. Make sure you get one for front load as it uses a thinner pipe than a top load.

Hi Vineeth, sorry for delay in response as I was on vacation. If you plan to use dryer with every wash - I feel that having a 9kg wash capacity is a waste - as you will only need to load upto the dryer weight - which is 5kgs. If there are times you will load only wash, then you can go for this LG model. I bought this one amzn.to/3taH7Md which has an ideal mix - I bought it in a store as the color I wanted (silver) was not available online when I bought it. In general - I buy pretty much everything online these days otherwise.

Hi Maz! Previously, front load washing machines did not come with the ability to add clothes mid cycle. Most vendors offer that now, not all models of Samsung have that. If you want the ability to add clothes mid cycle, you have to select one with addwash in Samsung.
