I’m sorry but that was just funny!! That being said I’m really happy that you have honey at all after the start you had this year! Might have been smart to tuck your britches in your boots! Thanks for sharing!!

There is always something to throw us for a loop but we just have to go with the flow. Thanks for the trip around the bee yard . Thanks

Good eye to catch sight of that virgin queen. Yes, that is strange that she was so far behind the other nuc queens. I think I saw another emerged queen cell on the bottom of the 2nd frame you pulled. Was there one on each side??

"I think I saw another emerged queen cell on the bottom of the 2nd frame you pulled."..There sure could have been, but at that point I didn't think I had a problem and wasn't looking as close as I should have. I thought the cell I saw on the bottom of frame two would have been the one that the mated queen that I was expecting to see would have come from. It wasn't until I saw the cell with the open flap that I was thinking I had a problem...fun and games...LOL

I think you might have answered my question at time stamp 18:08.... Do you harvest all together or as needed? AND are you going exclusively foundationless?

"Do you harvest all together or as needed? " ...I would say all at once..but having said that it takes me about a week, I just try to do it as fast as I can so as not to have my extractor filled with honey for too long...(I worry about attracting ants or whatever into my honey house.) " are you going exclusively foundationless?"...I am leaning that way, but I am sure it will take me a few years...assuming I don't find a unforeseen problem...or if I just find something better. Thanks Scott
