Very very nice ! But I have to ask : why a Mamba ? isn't this ship known for poor thermal efficiency ? Or did Frontier patched that ?

@@IPM71the heat spikes to just over 100% briefly when I fire all 5 but with a heatsink it goes back down really quickly. If you time it right and your moving quickly enough you can still avoid most incoming damage. There are better AX ships but none move like the Mamba 😂

Hell, I was doing work as a scoutbuster with an AX Dolphin. It’s insane how much armor you can pile on one of those and still be able to outrun anything you have to. Nonmeta builds are the most fun.

6x #2 mod shards to the face twice fast will make most cyclops crap their drawers. With enough heat sinks might be able to GIB a Basi and make a Medusa sit up and take notice lol

found it helps a LOT if you go ahead and pop that first heart on a Cyclops and THEN let fly all guns a blazing. Otherwise there's a decent chance the cyclops healing will be faster than your damage output unless your aim is just fargin perfect. With a heart gone, the healing is slowed quite a bit. With 3 hearts gone, 2 #2 mod shards plus 2 #3 regular shards are sufficient to finish the job in a couple of salvos if fired at close range. I assume it's much the same for a Basi. But I've not worked up the gumption to try a solo Basi for much more than dive in, tick it off and then run like hell lol

You need to have the weapon stabiliser fitted which you can buy from any rescue ship. It goes in one of your optional internal slots and currently only the class 3 is available which lets you have one additional AX weapon. There will be a class 5 shortly which lets you have an additional two AX weapons.
