Ohhhhh ! Adding english paper piecing hexies to the quilt is a great idea ! You've no idea how your project has stimulated & inspired me. Over the years, I've been wandering from free-form embroidering to epp to handquilting then to machine quilting & looking for a way to bring it all together & your posts are a revelation to me. Merci beaucoup

Your quilt is looking great. Love the Tim Holt fabrics you’ve added. Was thinking why not use Tim on the binding over stitch on the edge, but quite like the mixtures you’ve got running through. Looks like you’re having a blast at your retreat. Happy stitching. I am up to date and just starting today with the herringbone stitch will make mine smaller this month as I think I went to long last month. My running stitch was a little crocked in parts so am thinking I might make something to hold so I stay straight but I kinda like the wonky ness makes me smile and think handmade.
