Remember that in 1930s,Maharaja bhupinder singh- a great representative of Sikhs- offered his sister's hand to dr. ambedkar to make sure he has no doubts about discrimination if him and his followers were to become Sikhs. Brahmanist Fascist MK Mohandas Gandhi, INTIMIDATEd him, threatened to end himself, and making life hell for dalits in post-independence India and thus he detered AMBEDKAR from ACCEPTING SIKHISM. this shows that the most elite sikhs were ready to do anything for Sikhi.

Could not make where this Nodh Singh Gurudwara is in Punjab . I wish to go there personally & give the Gurudwara Committie a peice of my mind . BTW the so called JATTS are also SHUDRAS as per Hindu Caste System & Manu Smriti . This is a clever ploy of either JATTS or Brahmins who has put this bunch of lies into people s mind . Read Sikh history from Persian sources by JS Grewal wherin Mughal Court Documents specifically mention the status of these so called Jatts as lower than Shudras sometimes

I guess in America we could consider the difference in customs to just be differences in customs. Placing active meat eaters with non-meat eaters is asking for strife. I remember in the script for the cartoon I wrote about Nanuk that he was not in favor of the slaughter of helpless animals. So the meat eating, of mammals anyway, seems odd.

don't say sikhs as bastards, the person who says i am a sikh n still discriminate on the basis of cates is a real bastard.. all of our gurus were against caste system and none of gurus were from jatts. in guruji's eyes all jatts n other low castes were same... "in gareeban ko bakhshis badhshahi" . its true that majority in our religion is of jats but still there are some gud sikh people.

Actually if jatts says the are superior n says themseves jatts but not singh, then it shows that infact they are from low castes n shows their cheap mentality, illeterate ppl..basically this jattism is one of the biggest issue which destroying our religion. so you should raise ur voice in front sikh student fedrartion or damdami taksal etc n also u should stop taking benefit from sc/st quotas and start practising sikhism. in order to prove ur equality, honesty n dedication towards sikhism

So the distinction is about denominational differences. So why not change the nature of the debate away from caste and declare a new denomination within the Sikh Religion. In actuality your already have the Ravidassian Sikh Denomination and the Traditional Sikh Denomination. The Jews have their Ultra Observant, Traditional, Conservative, and Reform movements that have different styles of worship, but they are all Jews. Though some say the Ultra Observant are crazy and Reform lazy.

This does not reflect the overall tolerance and egalitatianism which Sikhism propogates Some of the most revered figures in Sikh history- including Bhai Rangreta and a few of the panj pyaree were so called "low caste" yet they are held in the highest esteem by Sikhs I guess one could make a documentary highlighting how Sikhi uplifted the masses from tyranny, oppression, and subjugation

singh does not mean tiger or lion. the main common meaning of singh is the nose earing of a water bufolo. you get it. singh means the nosering of the water bufolo. or the tusks to a mamaal such as a water buffolo or deer etc.
