Eddy, Thanks so much for all your lessons and videos. This one was really great. It's so wonderful to have such a legendary tenor banjo player as yourself willing to share his knowledge with everyone. Thanks again. Bob (aka Ok City Bob-- at the hangout)

Hi Blaine, yes, I don't play in a plectrum mode. It's good to hear from you. By the way, where are you located? Eddy

Las Vegas Nevada. My wife and I are retired professional singers and Dancers. I shared the stage with greats like Donald O'Conner, Gregory Hines, and Jack Jones. At one time, I was known as the fastest tap dancer in Las Vegas. I have beaten stomach Cancer a few months ago, and I have fallen in love with the banjo. I am learning so much from watching you, but I have a lot of questions. Check out Blaine Senior resume demo on KZbin. A few things I did when I was younger. Please toss me an email so I can ask a few musical questions in detail . mrblainesenior@aol.com. I would be very grateful. Talk soon, have a blessed evening.

I am trying to decide if I want a plectrum or tenor banjo to play rag time/old show tunes. I don't have any idea of the difference now!

Don't both tenor and plectrum tune to the C below middle C?

Hello Eddy, I’ve enjoy your videos. THANKS! You showed a G7 without a G note. If you diminish a chord WITHOUT a ROOT , it becomes a dim. chord. In your case a Gb7 SOUNDS like a G dim. chord because of the key your playing in and it has no root. IS THAT CORRECT? TuBanjos
