Hey that would be so awesome to have a block of HO model railroads with a set of homes linked. Man, I can think of so many opportunities! Guess I have to wait until I make it to heaven!

I don't think you'll have to wait that long! I'll keep you all posted on whatever I find out. It may take a while though...

Hello Burr, I've just started modeling the Burlington Northern railroad with operations. Your videos have sure been a joy to view and learn from.

Cool. What geographic area are you modeling?

Nice video, thanks for sharing your layout and operations with us. 1:08:18 broken crankshafts, not drive shaft as far as I know, no diesel electric has a drive shaft :)

Next month I will be participating in my first group operating session. My NMRA division has yearly operating sessions at various layouts. Unfortunately the only one that was still available when I registered for the event is an hour and a half away. So I have to be up 4+ hours before I normally get up and drive an hour and a half across 2 counties to the layout that's farthest away.
@muchfunwithtrains8 ай бұрын
Yes, that's unfortunate. Hopefully it will be worth it, and you'll find closer ones to attend in the future. The OPSIG has set up operatingsessions.com to help people find sessions near them to attend. Enjoy, and tell everyone I said hi! :)

Great video Burr! Question: are those lighted blue flaggers protecting some of your tracks at 24:35 available commercially or are they homemade? If you said it I missed it. Thanks! Bruce
@muchfunwithtrains7 ай бұрын
Yes and yes. They are sold by Seth Neumann at modelrailroadcontrolsystems.com as kits, so you do have to solder them together. And they usually come with red LED's for use as brakemen, so you have to ask him to ship you blue LED's instead if you want to use them for blue flag protection. Thanks for your comment and question!
