heres a fun tip, rub the ring between your hands a bit to warm it a little so its slightly more flexible with the ring expander tool and dont roll it around the top of the piston to put it on, always use a ring expander tool.. lastly when filing with a hand file go from the outside of the ring in and ever so slightly round off the outside sharp edge of them
