I have a number of Godiva's Secret toppers, first to cover the gray when I dyed my hair brown. When I decided to go full on gray, I bought sandy silver, which has some brown and silver, then Silverstone in the mono medium topper. These really helped my transition. Now I'm fully gray and love my Silverstone medium topper for my chin length layered bob as I've had some hair loss. These toppers are sooo comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them. I also bought Godiva's wigs but I rarely wear them. I also bought Jon Renau's Top Notch topper in oyster. The topper was well made with plenty of coverage but I wasn't crazy about the color, it didn't have that white in front like Godiva's. I'm definitely a topper gal like you!

One of the things I like best about Godiva's toppers is that they "nailed" the color ... it's that beautiful (and natural) silver/grey/white combination that most of us are looking for. @Joann - I am just looking at Godiva's medium toppers. Which did you like? They have a mono medium, and a regular medium topper which is a bit more teased. . I am debating which to get. Which is your favorite?

I have both but prefer the mono medium topper. It's hard to say what you might like though. You can always return it if you don't like it. Take a selfie and see. When I took a photo of me with a group of friends with the medium permatease I thought it looked unnaturally full on top.

My first purchase was terrible 3 Wigs arrived and I still have them two still unwrapped.Chep is not good then I came across Codive Secret Wigs and I purchase the one you are warring and love it. Question: I got a couple of swatches from Godiva's Secret, but the fibers look so fake and "doll like". Of course, this is just a little switch of hair, no curl. Do you find the Godiva Secret toppers look natural?

Belle Tress has some beautiful toppers with that front strip of some kind of skin-like silicone than bleeds seamlessly like you were talking about with the the Godiva Secret. They have some unusual colors. My favorite is marshmallow blond, but the coconut silver blond. Don’t be put off by the word blond in those. I wear a Paula Young 60 white, but the marshmallow blond has a bit of other colors blended in and seems a bit more natural.

I have silver hair that I wear in a chin length bob, longer in front. I wear headbands to cover my hair loss and I'd like to find or make a topper that I can attach to a headband. Any ideas? I bought the Henry Margu topper but it was SO dense it was unusable. I need something low density. HELP!

This is great information thank you. I've been wearing human hair toppers for many years due to hair loss. I'm just now thinking of letting my hair go gray. I know my natural hair has been white gray for a long time. Human hair is so expensive so I'm looking into synthetics. I've tried a couple Jon Renau's in my current brown in straight and wavy. They tangle so much which is my only real complaint. I worry about that...

My hair goes from a medium brown at the front and roots to a mostly yellowish white. Having a very hard time finding a topper. My hair is so thin I must wear a hat. It’s very hot here in the deep south so I keep it long to pin up most of the year. Any recommendations? Just found you, thanks for helping p.s. forgot to mention my hair is wavy from all the humidity. Only in winter does it go straight.

Hi Jean and everyone. I have very thin hair on top especially right behind my tiny hair line. I can't use clips or combs so I just snip them out of the toppers. I've always used about an inch or so of adhesive hair piece tape right in the front and curved bobby pins for the sides. I usually only need to use two pins and they hold really well! The bobby pins come in different colors, including white and gray, and you can order them on Amazon. It takes a bit of practice but if you're just a little bit careful with how you place them you can't see them at all and they don't hurt. You can try light hold tape (one week or less hold), don't use the extended hold tape. It can easily be removed with a spritz of 91% rubbing alcohol. I've also used topper grips with halo wires. I tape them to the top of my toppers. They're very comfortable. I like ThinHairThick's the best because the halo wire is longer but Milano Wigs also has good ones.

YES, they do have 56/51 BUT I find that the people who do the color especially well are Godiva's Secret Wigs.
