@gothling1 Fondant will naturally sweat when it gets cold , But if you leave it after youve put the fondant on, Dont touch it, the condensation will disapear and your cake will be fine

where the sides of the box hard when you put them on? when ever i make my butter cream stuff by putting it in the fridge, it always makes the fondant sweet after i put it on. =(

Hi, She said to use cake but in the video she was using a dummy box made out of polystyrene. the black and white is made out of fondant/ready roll icing/sugarpaste.

@matrixofdeath if yu want to make it into shapes, you cut it. yes it is eatable. it depends on what kind of fondant it is for the taste, because some fondant tastes very sweet, while others taste disgusting.

I'm a little confused about what the shoe box is made of... did you use an actual shoe box, and cover it wish something, or is that cake? With the humming sound in the background, I thought you were speaking a little too quickly for my ADD nature.

@HorsieGirlie101 if you put your fondant in the freezer for goodness sake make SURE that the fondant is protected from moisture by wrapping it thoroughly in plastic wrap! Moisture is the ENEMY of fondant and one spot of condensation will ruin the look that you are going for if you are going for a matte finish. If your looking for the shiny patent leather look then lightly steaming the surface will give you a wet look. Be careful though it is sooo easy to ruin!

That heel is so clunky it looks nothing like the shoe. I would not have covered it at all.
