Yes but the church has rules they have a dress code and you're talking to someone who has not been to church in ages but just because I haven't been to church doesn't mean that they're wrong in this area you can't come to church dressing like a whore. Other people will be like well if she can dress like that then why can't I I mean the church has a dress code how you going to come to the house of God showing your bosom or wearing tight clothing or short short skirts come on now have some respect Meagan needs to have some respect yes render your heart not your clothing but the church has a dress code you need to follow it you can't be coming up in the house and God worshipping God like that

The Call: From the SAVIOR to the Sinful JESUS said that HE came to call "Sinners" to "Repentance" (Matt 9:13). That means that HE came to tell sinners to turn away from sin. In another place, JESUS told HIS disciples that "It is not you who is speaking but it's the SPIRIT of your FATHER Who's speaking in you" (Matt 10:20). So realize that when someone shows up telling you to turn away from sin, if that person is sent from JESUS CHRIST, it is the SPIRIT of GOD in that person calling you to turn away from sin (in other words, to repent). So don't think that everyone who approaches you telling you to turn away from your sins is judging you. It just may be that GOD is in that person speaking to you to turn away from sin. Blessed be the NAME of the LORD! AMEN. Apostle Thaddeus The Ministry of Pure Truth All Glory be to GOD! AMEN. The good LORD willing, you can learn more on this blessed topic in my blessed new book entitled, "Judge Not," which is on the list of the over 50 or so future books that GOD has given me to write. Blessed be the NAME of the LORD! All Glory be to GOD! Hallelujah HOLY SPIRIT! AMEN.

Amen and the Bible does say "do not forsake to assemble". Which means gather with other believing folk. Praise his name and pray together because when two or more are gathered in the name of the Lord it SHALL be done. So i take that as go to church. Or have Church wherever but with other believers. Not just alone. Praise him with people. Instruments. Songs. Stories. Testimonies. All things that go on inside a Church. The right and Holy spirit filled ones of course. But Amen.

I completely agree with you ladies it is a difficult situation. I personally went through this 🤐. I eventually changed but not because I was being rebuked but because I was being convicted by the Holy Spirit. As we grow in our faith we will willingly make the necessary changes to please God. It is such a thin line though.... our goal is to tell people about Jesus... so when our churches grow, more people are being saved. People come in with areas within their lives that are not yet surrendered. Everyones walk is different we each have our own journey and our own timing. We need to pray for wisdom, compassion, and patience so that we can pray for our sisters while they are on their walk and not allow ourselves to be used (by you know who as a tool) to push them away from the body of Christ.

Wendy Ellis I understand, sometimes people tend to sign up for things that sometimes can become very overwhelming. We have to remember God gives people free will so who are we to judge and waste our energy worrying about other people’s issue. I definitely understand how Megan feels. I've been bullied at different times at my religious place of worship, even by my own so called Christian husband. What these so called Christians do is bully covertly. What's ironic about it, these people bully you because you're trying to do what's right and they aren't. Aren't you at church so you can learn and improve yourself? So they target you and want to bring you down by any means possible. It's sad. At this moment I go but I don't fellowship. I'm gone right afterwards. Who wants to deal with that?

I feel like the reason why some people don't go to church is because the other people ( usually older ) are so focused on what they look like , what they believe they've been doing , and talking about them and judging them , but the reason they SHOULD be there is to focus on the word ! You're from the outside looking in and don't realize the journey a certain person has went to get to the point to come to church in the first place and it's people like the judgemental ones that scare the ones who are seeking the Lord's unconditional love

I used to go to church with Meagan Good..and this was Pre Devon Franklin who by the way is a great guy who loves and protects her to the fullest, and when I first met her I approached her with some of the same energy many of the comments on this feed reflect. I can tell you first hand that Mrs Franklin is one of the sweetest, loving, beautiful hearted people around...and she gets met with judgement constantly regarding every aspect of her life and I'll be honest...watching her handle that daily with grace Actually taught me how not to let things effect me as much as they did in the past. I commend her for taking the high road all the time ...her distancing herself in order to continue to love people and operate in love is extremely mature and I applaud her. I know for a fact that just 5 min talking to Meagan , anybody who has anything negative to say about her will re assess their thinking. Good for you Ms Good. #100

@@eliasacheampong5830 I don't remember the context on which I wrote this. Might rewatch the video but I totally agree with you. I believe that once you have become saved when God has changed you from within then your outward will begin to change as well. You will put on the fruits of the Spirit. You will see your body as a holy temple unto God. You will dress different, act, speak, respond, and behave differently. Like you said there should be a clear difference between you and someone living in the world. So I agree 100% and thanks for adding that. I find Hollywood Christian (famous Christian's professing God) are too worldly. There's no distinction.

Our part of being Christian is to congregate in Church and putting our eye's on Jesus Christ our Lord...Not on our brothers and sisters or the Pastor.. They are not perfect... Put your Eyes on the Lord and His Word He will never fell you.... We as Christian have to understand that in this path of Salvation we all have different process...We have to understand, that when we come to the Lord We have a spiritually progress some of us are newborn, toddler, youth, adult, elderly spiritually..... Please Brothers and Sisters understand that as person comes to the Lord...Jesus have a different process of Growth for each individual....So please if you see something from your brother or sister that you see that is not proper in the word of God... Then put them in your Prayers that's why you have a relationship with Jesus Christ to interfere for them and the Lord will do the work... Not you with your gossiping and criticizing the person and looking @ them less like your more holy that they are...We have to look for that same love that God have for us... Stop being judgmental and Pray more... Remember you are not the Holy Spirit that is not your job... Let The Holy Spirit do the job...just be kind and love them more and chow your testimony of growth of love and compassion be the light not the darkness don't be that tool for that person to leave the church, be the tool for that person to stay and Praise the Lord!! Have a Bless Day!!😉and I hope my thoughts on this topic don't offend no one.. sorry if you find a misspelling I'm bilingual 🤗😁😉

This is not the first time issues have come up with Megan Goode. I’m not trying to be mean, Megan Goode is a imperfect human being in need of Jesus just as we all are, but the problem is that she married a Pastor and professes to be Christian and doesn’t see the need to change certain things about her lifestyle which is contrary to the faith she is professing to be in. And it’s misleading to a lot of people who don’t really know any better and giving a false impression that this behaviour is acceptable as a Christian. If your struggling, than that’s one thing, but admit that, don’t try to defend and justify your actions and then condone and demonize the the people trying to show you correction. There are people who are just pointing out faults and they don’t even really care about the person, but I’ve followed the story on Megan Goode for awhile and it from what I’ve seen, she just sees anything that someone says to her weather in love or not as an attack.

I love that Tamera properly basically explained the difference between spiritual relationship with God and using love to teach others the way vs. Just practicing religious customs and knowing the law, but not understanding the Holy Spirit. HOWEVER as a believers in the Christ we know our God has rules and standards, everyone is allowed to grow and learn, but if you've been told to cover up for the past few years as a mature believer your response should not be to stop church it should be to assess yourself as a woman and understand that the body is a temple and some parts of it should only be for hubby's eyes, amen. Meg is wrong here. You don't want to dress in a way that tempts others or wrongly displays your body.

Judgemental people are everywhere you go. If you are going based on what people say, you are going for the wrong reason. People are quick to say they are leaving the church when something is wrong, but keep going to work, school, the gym, family functions, etc. All of those places have the same issues at times, but you keep going because the goal is to better yourself, not worry about the opinion of others.

I never understood that either. How do people pick and choose the things they give up? Folks don't stop driving because they've been in one accident or stop voting for the next President because MOST are corrupt! Why should Church or Kingdom Hall attendance be any different? The most important thing you can do is build your personal relationship with God first through examining the scriptures. Once that's accomplished, it won't matter what the others around you are doing. You shouldn't be attending ONLY for the association. That's just the Cherry on top... When meeting with other like minded believers

Unfortunately, I know a Pastor and his wife who have to deal with women coming to church without panties with their legs open sitting on the front roll of the church. Some people go too far and the house of God should always be respected whether you like it or not. When people go to church and they don't know any better, sooner or later the Spirit of God will begin to address a need to grow and change out of respect to God! When I first started going to church, I had slits up my skirt. As I began to grow in the word of God and my relationship with Him, I began to dress like a lady and give respect to God! Nobody told me to make any changes and I felt a tugging from God to change my appearance. It was a gradual process into representing Christ with excellence and like a lady. These truths are hard to swallow because people don't like to hear the truth anymore and the world has lost respect for God!

Being hypocritical and judgmental is an issue, but we must reprove our brothers and sisters. sin have evaded the church and we have gotten less and less worried about it. It's important to correct our brother and sisters if they are in error, but with live, gentleness, and patience. I don't want to put Megan Good's salvation in question because that's between her and God, but as children of the Most High there's a certain way we should conduct ourselves. That includes how we dress, how we act, even what we are involved in. We are setting examples of the future generations.

No they don't. To 'change your ways' by your own effort most likely always fails. That's cause your ways aren't the problem, but a manifestation of it. Someone's dress sense is not an external problem, it's an internal one. Changing their clothes might make them look Christian, but their hearts won't reflect that image. The problem isn't solved, just buried. But the Holy Spirit works within you and changes you from the inside out. As you walk in faith, the word says He gives you the power and the desire to please Him. You'll get to the point where the Spirit leads you and you no longer need rules and boundaries. How does church help? By feeding the Word in love. As long as the person receives it, the Word will do the rest. "I have hidden your word in my heart so that I may not sin against you." I truly believe when you're saved, God gives you a new heart. It's the old mind that corrupts and sets back. But the Word is what can conform the mind.

People fail to realize the church is the building and people in the church are the same as the ones in the street. They're seeking attention and wisdom at the same time. My advice to Meagan would be go to church and speak up for yourself, if people think they can separate you from your husband which God joined together (clothes, job etc,,,,) they'll continue. Your husband is a minister and you have to ask God for the strength to rebuke those that come up against you. Also, remember they're actually coming up against God who live in you. Your sister in Christ

They don’t care about others. They only care to exalt themselves. They don’t criticize to correct, they criticize to make others feel inferior and to emphasis their superiority. It’s just that simple. The church is not where you meet god. The church is where you go to connect with others on the journey to knowing god. The church is meant to be a community of broken people who come together to build each other up. Most people forget that there were churches already before Jesus was born. He was born to rectify how the church was functioning, and he denounced the Pharisees for this reason. They killed him for this reason. So, what we have today are a whole bunch of elitist Modern Pharisees who DONT have God in them. PERIODT.

I would have to wear clothes bigger than my size just so it would go past my knees I was a us size 2/4 or wear midi dresses /skirts specifically . If I wore things fitted I’d be asked to wear a trench coat on the stage to hide my figure . I wore ripped jeans (only slit at the knee) I was told that I influencing the other kids . It got to a point where people complained that their husbands were looking at me . Tell your people in the congregation to read their bibles and pray and stop looking at me . I came to church for the right intentions to praise god and sing in the choir cause that’s what I loved doing . Now I never went to church with my boobs out , ass out . But the fact I had to hide my body in over sized clothing to protect someone else from their bad taughts stopped me from going to church . I started to feel self conscious in a place where I was supposed to be the most comfortable . What happened to coming just as you are .

Although I do understand the concept of showing love in The Christ like way!!! Totally agree... but the point is Meagan is not willing to transform into the modest woman of God that God is intending for us as we continue to serve him.... Christ will not have you to openly wear revealing nakedness for everyone to see , now that you have made Him Lord of your Life.... He will guide you into dressing appropriately and yet still be beautiful.... and the sexual scenes are ungodly as well .... The word of God tells us it is not good for a man to touch a woman , and that is not trying to be rude but ...correcting in a righteous manner whereas making sure one is not doing the same things and the intent of their heart is not right about it!!! Some people can be jealous in delivering messages and although the message is true the deliverer has the wrong spirit and therefore it doesn’t get received well... Lastly then there’s Having a form of Godliness and denying the power thereof .... just wanting to do what’s right in your own eyes.... We can’t do that ... but we can righteously judge if in right standing !!! So I will pray for Meagan because it’s sending out confusion to women... along with her husband encouraging her to do this in Jesus name!! Woe to Him !!!

Yes, but church should be your save haven from what’s out in the “world.” Church folk want to talk all day about being held to a higher standard, but then don’t want to apply it to themselves when it comes to being unloving or rude or a gossip. Plus, Meagan wasn’t just talking about regular criticism. She specifically used the word “attack.” No one should have to go to church (where they should find the forgiving and embracing love of Christ in others), all the while bracing themselves for an attack.

Oh ya, I totally understand what you’re saying. I agree that church folk can be the biggest hypocrites. But allowing criticism to stop you from going to the house of the Lord isn’t the solution. Hollywood criticism is just as bad, celebrities get judged on so many levels from appearance to intelligence, down to each and every choice they make. Most don’t let that stop them from acting or singing or whatever it is they do. So why should it stop someone who loves Christ from worshipping in His house? Not every church is the same, so that isn’t an excuse. She can always look for a new place to worship that’ll hopefully be more welcoming and free of criticism. :)

Tear jerker for me! You ladies are great! You don't have to be on the limelight to be hated on,just a woman with a destiny and calling is enough to set some JEALOUS RELIGIOUS FOLKS off. Meagan should keep going to church for herself. Love you all!

Unfortunately Meagan has placed herself in a difficult position. She is an actress who usually plays the sexy love interest, vixen, wears very sexy revealing clothing, and continues to do so after marrying a pastor who is head of a Church, and becoming first lady, speaking on the sanity of marriage and abstinence. It's a visually confusing message. Similar to how it would be confusing for a devout Muslim spiritual leaders wife to wear revealing clothes and do sex scenes on TV and eat pork on Instagram.. it would be hard to take the husband or the wife seriously because they're actions don't line up with what they say they're beliefs are.

There are so many holier-than-thou people on this earth and none of us I mean none of us have room to condemn no one.......There are so much ugliness going on people would be surprised if they knew the truth..... live your life and live it to the fullest and don't worry about what people think...... because we all fall short of the glory of God.....

WE ALL fall short but what kind of person are you to mind your own business and let your brothers and sisters Fall. Would you mind your business and let your child's wrong destroy them because you are a sinner to so should you shut up then. Now if it is done out if LOVE great! I can't sit by and understand how people who claim they Love God just sit by and watch others self destruct. It's hard to see one's fault and I am thankful for Loving persons to steer me on the right track.

@@kimjackson3986 you dont need a disclaimer... To say you were not starting a mess because my view is different to yours everyone has different opinions that does not mean they are looking for war. Secondly IT IS NOT ABOUT ME BEING HAPPY. Not when it conflict with God's will and we have to remember we are our brothers keeper. And Love is the Golden Rule.

Here’s a perspective coming from someone who was a Pharisees when I first began to walk with Christ: I genuinely loved Jesus. I loved people however, I thought my love for God meant that I couldn’t listen and have compassion for others people story and journey. However, as I have been growing with Christ by reading more about Him, I realized that you never really know how God is working in people’s life. The book of Job taught me that. Those Pharisees friends of Job thought he was being punished but God was really setting up Job to be exalted. So understand that the best way to deal with Pharisees or anyone is to pray for God to open up their eyes to God’s love and His truth. We are all on our journey.

Most church women need to take advice from Meghan and take better care of themselves. Seems like jealousy to me. There are many overweight men and women in the church who need to mind their own health and wellness. You don't have to agree with how she dresses nor dress like she does, but don't hate on her because she is a gorgeous, talented, woman of God with an amazing body. Get off your couch so you can feel better about yourself. 💕

People will judge you in the church, in your family. Jesus himself was judged by his own people. Did he care about their opinions? No!

Its a tricky topic because you can correct somebody in love and they STILL will think you are being religious or judging. I do agree with Tamara about not letting people affect you attending church because you need to be spiritually fed and the enemy wants to keep you from spiritually growing. Let them talk. I need to be in the house of the Lord because I need to hear a word.

It's conviction, and people run from conviction. When you stand before judgment day it will not be about what other people said or did. If you live right and do right then nothing will detour you, period. It's not about you or them, it's about Him. Excuses are the Pharisees as well.

I’ve been spoken to by fellow Christians about things before. For example being on the worship team I am considered on the front lines. I’m one of the first people seen at the alter when people come into services. If myself and fellow team members are wearing clothing that is too tight with high slits, see through, showing cleavage, etc... that is not okay. Also when I am out during my own personal time, I am still a representation of Christ. I remember one time I to dinner with a few friends who were celebrating birthdays. It was a horrible service and we waited for 3 hours to get our food....and by the end of the night I was so frustrated and it showed. The following week I was at a ladies night sleep over and one of my church sisters that was at the restaurant that other night for the birthday dinner pulled me aside and spoke to me about my behaviour to restaurant people. I didn’t get offended. We all need to be corrected from time to time. My Sis wasn’t yelling at me or putting me down, but she did tell me the truth. Did I feel great having that conversation, no. But it needed to be said.
