she cannot relate because she has entered into marriage with financial security of her own. I think she is speaking solely on individuals choosing to make sacrifices but when those sacrifices don't pay off, they turn around and blame everyone else for their original decision. MusiqQueen6 You started by accusing Adrienne of being dismissive, then ended by saying that women should stop the ride-or-die behavior, but it seems to me that you’re actually saying the same thing she said. Women have been conditioned to stop living their own lives to support someone else’s, and that needs to stop, yes you make sacrifices but that doesn’t mean you should sacrifice who you are as a person. There’s no question that a lot of women do that, I think her point was that women should stop doing that. We should stop feeling like we have to sacrifice who we are for love. Seems to me that Adrienne’s point is that there are 2 options. Either the woman chose to sacrifice even her own identity for her man (in which case she can’t blame anyone because it was her choice), or she did it because she felt like she didn’t have a choice (in which case that should have been a red flag, because women shouldn’t stay in a relationship where she has no choice about whether to sacrifice who she is or not).

It's funny for Adrienne to ask if it was the other person's fault. Adrienne is always trashing Lenny. She said Lenny judged her for drinking, did not hold her hand on the plane and made her feel stupid for being scared, did not want to show affection publicly, never posted her on Instagram, and did not give her a key to his apartment. She's still not over Rob cheating on her either. So it's a little hypocritical for her to say Oh. that's life,.

Say it louder for the babes in the back, Loni! I was in a relationship for over 10 years. We were engaged for 2 of the last years. We were building a life together as people who plan to marry do. I moved out of state for him and his career. After we moved he completely emotionally neglected and abandoned me. Yes, your own happiness is your own responsibility. But we are only human, so when we struggle we look to our tribes/villages to seek refuge and support. All I needed from him was friendship. Humanity. I was lucky to have support elsewhere. It was just hard to face that I no longer could rely on him for friendship. It's hard to face that someone who has been with you for so many years could just be done. That was the hardest hurdle to overcome. I am a phenomenal woman, I was in a struggle and he didn't commit to good & bad times. So I moved on. I do not blame him... it was disappointing. Anytime they start talking about relationships and bad breakups you can tell Adrienne thinks it’s somehow related to her and Israel.... and the only thing I can come up with is guilty conscience.... because I can guarantee you that if he were to do the same to her it wouldn’t be just life so basically get over it....

"For better or for worse" She trusted her wedding vows they made before God so to me it's no different than a couple who decides Not to get a pre-nup. He did her dirty. Period.
