Love these "showdown" videos. I agree with you in preferring the months and weeks together and not split like the W222. I can't wait to see the comparison between the Common Planner and the W222.

have never heard of Wonderland222 or the cousin, I was thinking of making my own but realized the time it would take, and you know every year your needs change! I do tarot so I wanted enough space to do that have my personal agenda and business agenda as well. I love the unstacked weekends and the daily pages of the Wonderland222. Thank you for this review!

I had a W222 A5 this year. I started the year wanting to use it for work planning because of those amazing monthly trackers (perfect for project management!). About April-ish I changed over to an EC Daily Duo because the W222 took up too much space on my desk to have it open and flip back and forth between the weekly schedule and daily pages that I used for task lists. I love bound books, I just don't have space for them. I did remove the tracker pages and hole punch them and put them on the same coil in the EC so I could keep using them. I wish W222 would make a booklet of just those trackers, or a booklet with their monthly layouts, a spread of 2 pages of trackers, and a bunch of notes pages with the times down the side. That would come out to signatures of 36 per month, totally do-able. I suggested that to them.

This is so helpful for me as I am undecided between these exact two. I’ve been using Cousin for years but I’m not a fan of the back pages and the quotes. The simplicity of the Wonderland is great but worried about how awkward it would be with monthlies interspersed between weeklies. I’m a creature of habit - was it easy to adjust to the Wonderland weekly format from the Cousin?

I have learned to ignore the parts I don’t like in the Cousin because I prefer the layouts. It all comes down to which is more important to you.

This is great! I’d love the wonderland, all in one, either a5 or b6, but wish they split it into 2 books! I have tried the cousin before but not the wonderland. I still go back and forth about the paper, so for 2025 I might try to make my own setup in a bullet journal! And create a lot of the tracker pages that the wonderland has! I also swe how you could use the review and overview pages in between the months, to do the makselife reflections and goal setting!
