Wow! Ms. Jennifer campos needs to be worked with. She is very unprofessional and sounds like she is not very educated in her job. She absolutely should not be lead and testify in court until she has significant professional development. Frankly, I am stunned by her testimony. SMH.

The mothers attorney makes me livid. The caseworker is useless in how shes answering his questions. If that mother wont protect the daughter who was SA by her husband not the childs father then she should not get that daughter into her care ever. That daughter should not have to worry about being around the man that sa her.

This case got under my skin so bad. How in the world does a mother think that IGNORING her children’s outcry’s, then calling they liars is HELPING her children?! You don’t get to do some parenting classes and get your kids back to put them back around that monster. Are they INSANE?!

This was the case where Mom's husband & father of the younger kiddos SA'd the older child...and Mom would be at her supervised visits on the phone, trying to get the older child to talk to her abuser. Mom was the "stand by your man" kinda gal, and didn't believe her child.

On the case where the grandmother adopted her grandchild. Obviously the apple didn't fall far from the tree. The grandmothers daughter doesn't have custody of the child, and the grandmother adopted the child. She abused the child and the child was taken away from her. It really says a lot about the grandmother as well. Sad thing is this abuse. Probably started with her own child who had this beautiful boyand for some reason, she was given another one to abuse. Why does our system fail the children so much? I don't get it. It's best to take this child away from the grandmother and the mother, separate them and when he's 18, let him decide whether he wants to see the monsters. At least by then, he'll be big enough to fight back. This is just sad. God bless that little boy and his aunt.

The amount of work for this Caseworker Jennifer Campos is daunting! To have multiple cases and have to track, engage with, and report for this case alone on numerous children, 2 fathers, mother - all the services, appointments, schools, who's participating, who is potentially lying. 😮

@Starcatt9668 ай бұрын
Campos doesn’t seem like she has any part of this case under control or is even intelligent, trained or capable of communicating ANY information in a coherent way to the relevant people, so that the children are protected and having their needs met, instead of bumbling her way through this mess and allowing those vulnerable children to be traumatized so horrifically all over again. She is absolutely useless!! She can’t even compose a complete thought, in half the video she makes no sense and has to repeatedly explain what she means when she manages to remember her point! That monster who was the children’s incubator should NEVER have any contact EVER for what she did and continues to do to abuse those children!! WTAF?

Will the kids be required to participate in the jury trial? Since it’s not a criminal case re: the CSA, I don’t know how it works. If the kids have to participate, it is disgusting for the mother to put them through that rather than cut out the abuser to the extent she’s able to (I know them sharing kids makes it difficult, if not impossible, to cut him out completely, but at least stick to a professional co-parenting relationship ffs!). It will be a wonder if those girls will be able to trust anyone after all this, poor things 🙁
@Starcatt9668 ай бұрын
I don’t know for sure, don’t quote me, but judges don’t usually allow children, especially children who have suffered such severe abuse, to testify in a civil trial. Especially because of the overwhelming potential that forcing them to testify would cause them extreme emotional distress that would cause permanent damage.

I'm just a few mins in but it is so frustrating to listen to case workers. Do they not have minimal standards? Do they not require any training? Maybe they could watch a few hearing, good and poor case working reporting? Regardless of what's going on in the case, it is so disturbing the court depends on case workers for information. I would think, being in court one time would be enough to encourage them to show up prepared to the next time.
@DwightKSchruteIII8 ай бұрын
Ms campos isn’t my favorite case worker but, they’re not really court specialists they’re job is to ensure the safety and well-being of the children on their cases and most if not all are extremely overworked and Texas recently had a case worker arrested for child related charges so I assume a lot of changes are happening behind the scenes (I hope) I do think they need someone specific to testify that knows how to word things for the courts and not add on court onto their case load also but, idk how that would work so I’m just rambling at this point.
@pammulholland86878 ай бұрын
Ms. Campos job is impossible. Tracking irresponsible unfit parents and traumatized children. And being attacked by right wing lawyers who understand nothing about child abuse and recovery. None of these "parents" should have access to these children, including out-of-state Mr. Mendoza who abandoned his daughter for years and now wants to play hero-dad.

They learned that it's way more efficient. They used to drive to multiple counties in a day for fifteen minute hearings. They could only cover a fraction of what they can now. It doesn't make sense for some courts to go back to in person and backlog the system all over again. The wait for court time is already atrocious. They can knock out a hundred bond hearings in a day now instead of a dozen
