Oh yes I can see how that was a bit confusing in the gap-fill. "Soak" with the preposition "through" is very common. In the gap-fill the sentence reads: It ____ through my undershirt as well. Only "soaked" can be used here. If I remove "through" then "stained" would also work. I hope this helps! Great score though :)
