Very good video. I think it would be helpful to mention that the left hose connects directly to the T fitting. If you cut the end of the hose off and use a rachet to loosen it, it's possible to twist the bracket and the main brake line right off. You've got to hold the T fitting from under the car. I used a vice grip, but channel locks would work, too. There is definitely a copper washer there which should not be reused. Thanks.

Agreed. Plus they're really pretty! New hoses are more important than what kind though so I recommend the cheap ones over waiting.

So technically if you just put the master cylinder in the car, fill it with fluid, and try to bleed the brakes... it'll take forever and you may have trouble getting it started. Bench bleeding basically "primes" the master cylinder. You'd hook up lines to route the brake fluid from the master back into the reservoir. The downside is that it makes a mess, but it goes back together easier later.

I'm using brake parts cleaner. You can find an aerosol can at any auto parts store. I use the stuff enough that I have a pressurized container and use bulk fluid. For the occasional spray, it's probably not worth that cost.

The brake fluid should only ever travel in the outer portions of the PDWA, so the best way to center it is in the middle. The plastic switch should unscrew, and you can use a small screwdriver to move the shuttle back and forth in the center. If it's very stuck, or moved too far, you'll need to undo the large bolt in the side so you can push/pull it directly. Either way, if it's moved off center, there's a reason so you'll want to address that.
