This is not very surprising with German Shepherds. I've owned three of my own and built a large outdoor kennel. One of them would reach out with his paw and unlatch the gate. Lol

+Jessica Jolicoeur We just purchased this crate (medium) from amazon for our new border collie mix. We haven't gotten it yet. Just curious why you have the clamps and if the crate is poorly made?
