I'm super intrigued as I just discovered these pom blankets today. Other women's videos show them only doing horizontal and vertical wraps, but yours have the diagonals on the base layers. Is that diagonal wrapping what makes your blankets look so much fluffier than others?

What is the specifications on your loom? How long is the wood and how many nails and what is theory spacing?
@buffpanda527 Жыл бұрын
I know I'm late, but based off those ~4in screws I'm guessing that is 5x5ft frame (based on approximate screw placement and her height, it could be bigger), the screws seem to be spaced 2in apart. I think I counted 29 screws per side (~113 screws) which would equal up to 58in centered on 60in long 2x2s (the wood size she has, very cheap to get!). If 60in, you'll need x2 (say top/bottom) and x2 sides will need to be ~57in (I believe 2x2s are actually 1.5in wide, could be wrong as it's been a while.. just subtract the actual width twice for you side pieces.) Screw/glue together, bonus if you miter or back the corners with some steel braces and short screws, mark out your *width centers* across all sides (halfway down the width on the front where you plan to add the screws) and mark your 2in screw intervals and screw them in. Erase the width lines between if you really hate them being visible. Lot of work, but easy to do. Screws will be the expensive bit, get a big tub to save money and you can make more sizes.

@@buffpanda527 i saw on one video the one side needs even number of pegs/screws and the other side is uneven number (so say evens top & bottom & odds on either side - or either/or). 😊
