German ingenuity! Very nice example of a compact and efficient solution. I built one today from some spare lumber. BandHelper -> iPad -> Monitor with a bluetooth footswitch works great with this.

How much does this weigh when you're carrying it? And thanks for making the video.
@covercat44 Жыл бұрын
I keep the teleprompter in my rehearsal room and won't get around to weighing it for another two or three weeks, but I estimate it will be around three to a maximum of 5 kilos

It‘s about 13 kg

Hi, thanks for sharing your work. I've started gathering the hardware to build one, a 24" screen and a raspberry 3B+. However, could you provide all the dimensions, including the thickness of the panels used, and possibly share your CAD file. Thanks

The CAD File is lost. Sorry

Hello@@covercat44, no problem. After some hours working, I've managed to make my own with a 24" screen, powered by a raspberry PI 3 B+. Thanks again for sharing your experience. All I have to do now, is practise with my band and get used to it, it's much more fun than using a desk!

“I see that your text is rotated, not across the width of the monitor but vertically, so you have more text. How did you do that? When I rotate my iPad - I assume your teleprompter is connected to a program like Songbook on your iPad - the text is still projected horizontally on my monitor. I’m curious how you changed the orientation. Looking forward to your answer.”

@@foorthuis270 In this case, I don't use a program like Songbook or MobileSheets. It's a simple PDF file. With my other version of the teleprompter, where I only need the case (as a support and storage space for a convertible notebook), I can have the texts automatically displayed vertically/portrait in my MobileSheets program.

@covercat447 ай бұрын
Tut mir leid.
