എഞ്ചിനീയറിങ് പഠിച്ചപ്പോൾ Design and Analysis of Algorithm എന്ന ഒരു വിഷയം... എന്റെ പൊന്നേ കുറെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ച സബ്ജക്റ്റാ. അതിലെ first ചാപ്റ്റർ ആണ് ഈ സംഭവം. For someone who really wanted to excel in Data structures and algorithm. Practice practice practice. Platforms : Beginner friendly : Hackerrank Intermediate and advanced: hackerearth codechef, codeforces, leetcode For beginners. Start with Hackerrank problems if you are familiar with basic syntax of a particular programming language. ( prefers cpp , or else choose according to your convenience. Sometimes it's difficult to manage time complexity constraints while using python/java) Then move on to any of the mentioned platforms. Participate in coding challenges hosted by codechef, leetcode etc. Then you will get the real view of competition around you. Find your mistakes, learn from it. Repeat the cycle. Refer Geekforgeeks for learning algorithms. For company specific ds and algo preparation, system design, shell programming etc, use Interviewbit. Reminder: Coding competitions are addictive. നല്ല explanation, മറ്റേ പുള്ളിക്ക് ഇത്തിരി കൂടി space കൊടുക്കണേ.. പിന്നെ mathematics part ഒക്കെ അങ്ങു നല്ലതുപോലെ explain ചെയ്യുക,.. വേണമെങ്കിൽ..അതിനു മുൻപ് ഒരു reminder കൊടുക്കുക..ഇനി പറയാൻ പോകുന്നത് ഇതിന്റെ maths പാർട് ആണെന്ന്..വേണമെങ്കിൽ skip ചെയ്യാം എന്നു. .പക്ഷെ ഇത് കാണുന്ന 90% ആൾക്കാരും അതു കണ്ടു മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ ശ്രേമിക്കും എന്നു ഉറപ്പാണ്.. കാണുന്നവരുടെ നിലവാരം ഊഹിക്കാൻ നിൽക്കാതെ..നമ്മൾ ഏറ്റവും നല്ല കണ്ടെന്റ് കൊടുത്താൽ കാണുന്നവർ അതിലേക്ക് up ആയി വന്നുകൊള്ളും..അതല്ലേ real learning.. വളരെ നല്ല ഒരു initiative ആണ്, very much helps future programmers

It doesn't depend on how many lines of code there are. It depends on what the code does and how it does it. Eg if I ask you to add all the elements in an array, then we go through each of them one by one, so O(n).
