Thanks yall! Inspired me to read Gettier. I thank Gettier for pointing out this fault in logical epistemology. By this point, Quine was working on his Twin Dogmas and Logical Positivism has been struggling as a movement if not mostly dead by this point. To me, Gettier represents the epistemological schism that came from that. To me, a pragmatist, you are just casting words (in this case “knowledge”) arbitrarily for whatever scenarios you deem importing to include or exclude (Gettier Cases). I appreciate our analytical friends doing the nitty gritty and I’m fucking glad I don’t have to 😇(again, im a pragmatist)

I'm really curious of the justification claim that the person who gets the job has 10 coins in his pocket. If my justification is because I have good evidence to believe John has 10 coins in his pocket and I have good intel that he will get the job. Then how do I have justification that the person will have 10 coins in his pocket if someone else gets hired?
