It gòt imprint in our mind for ever alongwith with your name affixed On it enabling us to recall it as&when the occasion demands it. It is Beyond words to express our Gratitude for this excellent class. Sir, Don't you think it is contradictory to say ininfitive is not a verb when it act as verb as bare infinitive&present participle in continuousform when situation demands it( ate and eating asper your above example) No doubt the principle function of Gerund is to act as noun, past&present participle as adjectives. I am glad to record here that you have explained thoroughly the wafer thin difference from gramatical pont of view. It is rather a baffling for students to comprehend it. Thanks a lot Sir.
