Apologies. I didn't see the word PEOPLE before it. LOOKING AT ME is the present participle phrase, modifying the noun people. PEOPLE LOOKING AT ME is the object of the verb HATE.

She got the mail, mentioning about her exam. In this sentence, is present participle phrase telling object mail? Could you explain sir?
@Angrezikiclass2 жыл бұрын
No, the comma makes it clear it's referring to the subject. Without the comma, it refers to the object.

Union finance minister nirmala seetharaman, presenting her fourth budjet and the second one in a pandemic-hit economy on Tuesday, largely stuck to the broad script from last year, scaling up the wager on public capital spending to revive private investments and job creation through virtuous growth cycle, while keeping an eye on the country's macro fiscal health. Sir, I have a doubt one thing...for example Seeing the police, the thief ran away. It means one action completes another action starts (Police ko dekhte he chor bhag gaye) Pehla action complete hua dusra start hua immediately.... Listening to his favourite songs, he called his brother. Gaana sunte sunte usne apne bhai ko bulaya Mine is doubt...why can't I consider this sentence like this.... Gana sunne k turant baad usne bhai ko bulaya
