Hello all! Felt the need to pop up a comment. I am, absolutely floored by response I'm getting for these videos. Only three videos in and we’ve hit over 450 subscribers, which is already past any reasonable expectations I had for this channel. All your comments are great, and it warms my heart that we were able to share these experiences together. That said, the pressure is on to be better and faster, and it has already been a month (what the heck). Absolutely loved the video. I know people are complaining about your voice and the slower paced videos, but I really really enjoy that part of it. It's like a slightly more polished version of old-style youtube content with more of a focus on the content itself instead of branding and crazy 3 minute intros, with decent commentary and actual unique information instead of the same few "secrets" copy-pasta'd around by every channel on youtube. Really enjoyed, please keep it up!

Anyone else using ems&roms? PS: I've been playing Mario et al since it first came out. I'm now 54yrs old and still love it. Favorite game consul is still the N64.

9:00 Finally! The glitch that I discovered as a child. I was looking for it so much time. Although I reached that "cloud world" near the biggest tree. Hahah I thought It was a secret and tried to get that place in many ways unsuccessfully, but when getting all of the blue coins and shine sprites I realized It was a glitch. I started talking to npcs when i didn't have cut in pokemon emerald and was at lilycove city. Also i do a kick jump (the one where you reverse direction spraying dirt as you jump) and transition to hover to climb that tree where you do a triple jump. (Easier in my experience)

I also talk to NPCs, The green male Pianta and the female purple Pianta in Pianta Village has become a running gag in all 8 Episodes XD (The green one doesn't like Mario that much in the first five Episodes, he chucks Mario out of the way, and in Episode 6, when you save him, he still chucks you when you talk to him, but he also spawns the blue coin/1-up as well. The purple one gives you a hint of what to do to get the Shine Sprite, angrily in Episode 1.

I remember when I was a kid, the first thing I actually thought about was going into the edge of the stream to carry water droplets to put out the goop, and then damage boost to the mayor's mushroom because I didn't know or think to take the underground fences. I don’t know why it took me so long to find your videos. They’re really amazing! Mario Sunshine is one my all time favs and Pianta Village has always been my favorite course in the game as well! I played it to 100% prolly 20 times since it came out. Some of these secrets I know but even after playing so many times they’re are new things I’m finding through these videos. Jesus, I can't watch any of your videos without laughing. I'm pretty sure it's next to impossible. There's always at least one gag that catches me off guard, like when you were making fun of the enemy stuck on the fence and it got free. Keep up the good work.

5:58 This is actually not true. The barrels scattered around the level, which always respawn after a few seconds no matter how many times you destroy them, refill your water if you ground-pound them.

I remember getting to the bottom of the chasm in Pianta Village by sliding down the tree a certain way, this was years ago though. I was a little glitch/exploit hunter and found a bunch on my own. Getting under the water in Delphino Plaza Getting into the Pinna Park cannon with the worker inside, by ground pounding as opposed to the fruit method. Clipping into certain buildings and props The shortcuts in Blooper Surfing And more that I can't remember, but great childhood. Super Mario Sunshine is still one of my all time favorite games.

By the way, I found something similar to the roof-sprinting glitch in Delfino Plaza but it works with the slopes of the big trees. Thought I'd let you know. :)

You can also clip into the big chain chomp by dragging it to the hot spring and having Mario fall into the water while the chomp's falling in animation plays. It's kinda difficult to do since you have to make sure that Mario falling into the water will drag the chomp close enough that it triggers the animation, making it land on Mario while he's in the water. And they have to be done at THE EXACT SAME TIME or the chomp will get in before Mario or just run away when he lets go. When you do it right though you can chill out inside the chomp which is kinda cool I guess.

Side Note: Shadow Mario is supposed to have a health bar, but it never appears because the timer of how long the health bar is visible always stays at zero. This is visible in the Coop mod when damaging player 2. I found it out by TCRF research right here: tcrf.net/Super_Mario_Sunshine, which contains a bit more info about it, but also contains more things never seen that may be interesting.

Pianta Village can actually be the first level you beat. The collision of the gate is different before the statue is cleaned off, letting you wall kick off the inside of the round part instead of sliding down. You can use this to get into the pipe without the rocket

Here's a little glitch/wall clip that I did...somehow. I'm not sure how this happened but I'll do my best to explain it. In episode 8 of Pianta village, I was climbing the tall tree in the middle. At some point I grabbed one of those fluff things that was partially in the tree. It clipped Mario right through the tree and the fluff despawned, letting Mario fall. I was on the ground inside the tree and after about one or seconds of standing, I died. Sadly, I wasn't able to recreate this glitch/wall clip. I just thought I would let you know about this 😉

I figured out the shine in the sun on my own by random chance. I noticed the shine symbol on the wooden structure, and figured there had to be some reward for reaching the tallest point in the map. So I just started spraying everywhere until I hit the sun a bit and boom: Shine Sprite.

I don't know if it happened to anyone else (and it's probably a minor bug) but once , in the chain chomp's bath level , after the chomp got his bath and turned golden , I randomly sprayed some water on him and some sparks (like those who come out from paintings or hidden suns paintings) came out of him , with the regular sound effect .

I also managed to clip through the floor in episode 8, by clinging on to one of those white... pollen things. It was near the bath, on the ledge to the right of the entrance, I grabbed it, held on to it and it just went right through the floor with mario. Let go and bam, out of bounds.

5:59 He says you can't refill your water tank. Thats wrong! If you perform the tree clip glitch later in this episode and then make your way over to Chain Chomp and his bath, you can jump into chomp and clip into him and the bath, allowing you to refill. To get out, simply jump out of the bath. You may need to jump and hover as well. Good luck!

11:06 All exploits are glitches. Glitches are any outcome not intended by developers. As defined here also excludes most actual bugs from being bugs. Wall clips are an easy example. Everything is working as intended. But niche edge cases can push the player outside(or sometimes just no barrier)
